is THAT how long i've been following this game!?!
I think what actually does kinda annoy me about con-Quest, which once was my favorite nsfw game, is not that they had the change all the game from scratch at some point... but rather that the story and character-display seemed much more fun before the revamp, ngl.
I still like it fine, i just don't connect with it as much as I used to (and yeah, I know how weird this sounds for a porn game)

Did the dev forgot to make adjustment in the gallery or I'm just missing out something? But Faye's first scene in gallery (the one where she gives her hand to help to MC) was automatically unlocked for me even though I haven't seen that scene and as I play through the game, the scene was nowhere to be found... Like unused scene but still in gallery.

Ah, That scene was cut from the intro. I felt like it was bit too much talking before you see any action so some of the earlier scenes were cut to help with the pacing.

Honestly for real, was a bit confused cuz gotta be honest the last time I touched it was probably more than a decade ago when it was broken into chapters on newgrounds. Was a hella different experience for sure. Dunno better or worse but def different.

I think it's gotten better personally but obviously I'm pretty biased lol. I'm always open to feedback.

I feel like there is quite a few things that have massively improved like the UI and the isometric maps over the flat 2D ones.
I think it had to do with the characters... the old version of the game had a lot of charisma powerhouses who constantly interacted with the protagonist, came back, most had a role to play in each arc... in this version of the game though, the cosplayers have simpler personalities and in a lot of instances are just... "there". no big scene between them, hardly returning for plot relevance, few if any dynamics and character clashes between them outside the protagonist when they are not directly linked... I have a feeling each update is just a 'let's introduce this character' instead of pushing the story forward, Only Phoebe seems like she has a real character arc and she is originally from the first version of the game. A shame, the pryor version seemed close to completion too, i wonder what the endgame would've been.
not saying the prior game was a masterful character analysis or that all girls had equal display or that this is a bad game (I still like it fine), but at I remember Phoebe, Carmen, Ivy, and a couple more for their personality, not just their cosplay design. To this day I still don't understand why they went to remake the game instead of just... changing some lines of dialogue and slightly tweaking the designs to get rid of the direct pokemon reference. (also, ngl, a big part of me is just missing the characters from the previous game)... I think the best original character of the new version is Camo by a mile, tbh (she is indeed pretty awesome)
So yeah, i think my main thing is... i kinda vibed with the characters more in the previous one.
