Saving and then re-loading once your stuck should fix it as you should spawn in the correct room and the cutscene should play as you load in.
Thank you, the saving and then loading the game in the room indeed triggered the cutscene and everything else was doable.

Are you on windows?

You should be able to just click the .exe and it just runs.

I have a new hotfix version that could use a little extra public testing.

0.28 Hotfix notes:
  • Fixed an issue with cutscenes not playing properly when being moved to a new room in a cutscene. This bug mostly happened when entering Phoebe's dungeon for the first time.
  • Fixed a issue with the dialogue system that would sometimes cause lines to be skipped or cause a soft crash.
  • Fixed an issue with the music and changed the fade in and fade out times for songs when entering rooms.
  • Fixed an issue when opening the map in ivy's castle.
  • Fixed an issue with breaking the glass in Scarlett's quest.
  • Fixed an issue with the android version that caused the game to get stuck in the loading screen.
  • After completing a tower in Ivy's dungeon you will now be moved back outside.
  • Added a choice prompt when selecting what Ivy to dance in the royal ballroom.
  • Picking a incorrect dancer will now cause it to disappear.
  • Tweaked the royal scepter quest to allow picking up the watering can sooner and added new SFX to watering.
  • Changed the trigger from entering Ivy's room to clicking on her while she is sleeping in Ivy's quest.
  • Added new SFX and animations to Ivy sleeping when you enter her room.
  • Added new SFX to Ivy's portrait disappearing.
  • Added a shine effect on the big sword in the cake dragon encounter to make the puzzle a little more clear.
  • Added new effects when clicking the cake dragon.

I've been putting off making a review for this game for a while, mainly because I'm just... really bad with wording. I tend to get decision paralysis, but like, with words. So... I wanted to wait until I had a more solid idea of what I was going to say, before typing out a proper review. But, it's become apparent to me that unless I wing it, I'm never gonna get this typed out, and this game deserves a proper review. So, here I am! I apologize in advance for the fact that my wording will very likely be robotic and read out like an advertisement.

TL DR I like the game for everything it is, I'll continue to support it, and I hope to see more.

I don't normally play games like this (I typically prefer visual novels like Eternum) but this game is my exception to that. And for good reason! This game really surprised me when I first played it. If I'm being honest, when I first found this game, I was expecting to have fun with it for a few hours, and then delete it shortly after. But, I ended up sticking around, and I'm glad I did!

The first thing I wanna compliment is the artstyle. I don't always like 2D/drawn artstyles in games, but, this one does it well. It's a healthy mix of detailed and simplistic, and even on the worst graphics, there's still a lot to look at! Which not only do you not see very often, but that also goes to show how much thought and effort was put into the visuals of the game, as well as how well it was pulled off! I really like how alive this game feels, because of how it looks. It looks... vibrant, is probably a good way to summarize it. Everything just has life breathed into it, and that's special!

Secondly, I wanna talk about the lewd scenes. Granted, my perspective on them as I write this review is limited, as I haven't unlocked all of them yet, and certainly not the more recent ones. But, I like them! They're hot, well drawn/rendered/however the graphics for this game are made, diverse, and usually run for the perfect amount of time. Some I'd call too short, others too long, but most are just right! They're a solid part of the game.

Thirdly, the game mechanics. I actually like this more than the lewd scenes if I'm being honest. One of the major reasons why I stuck around for this game is because of just how FUN it is! I really like how it has all the fully fleshed out mechanics from typical RPGs. You can level up, collect coins, have different weapon types, grind if you want, etc. It's really fun watching and feeling yourself get stronger, discover new strategies for harder enemies, experiment with clashing element types, grind for levels and coins (though you don't have to which I really like) explore various stuff from Vanilla's shop... I feel like I'm just repeating myself here, but you get the point. This game is really fun by itself, and I like how it's one of the few porn games that has just as much game as it has porn. You don't see that very often.

Fourth point of praise, the plot. I can't say much about it, as I'm waaay too early into the game to have really, well, seen much of the plot, lol. But, I like it so far, it's interesting!

Fifth and finally, the characters. Easily the selling point and best part of the game. The characters in this game are very well written! They're funny, likeable, memorable, and it's hard to get tired of them! I always enjoy meeting new characters in this game, and just about every second of screentime for any character is always memorable! The characters are a very, very well done part of this game. My favorites so far have to be Faye and Camo. Camo being #1 and Faye being #2. I've yet to decide on a #3.

And that's my review! Overall, I really, really like Con-Quest, and I'm glad I discovered it. It's an awesome game, and I look forward to future updates! Sorry again if my wording was weird, robotic, repetitive, or read out like an ad. Like I said before, I'm really bad at this stuff. Always have been. But, I hope this read out decently enough!

If you read this far down, thank you! I appreciate that! It means a lot! And, have a good day. Take care!

If you liked the game you might want to give the older version a try (before they rebuilt it from the ground). It's fun seeing how things used to be before they had to scrap the entire project and start over.

If there's a way to play it on Android, I'll absolutely check it out! If there's not, no can do, at least not for right now. I used to have a PC, but, it broke last year, so, I've been banished to the Android corner of gaming  But,if (when) I get a new PC, I'll absolutely check it out!

From what I understand, the old version had a more fleshed out story (because the rework is pretty recent from what I can tell, i.e. hasn't had the same amount of time to build a story) and leaned a lot more into the "cursed cosplay" part of it all, but had worse graphics. And, the reason why it got taken down is because Nintendo, being Nintendo, came down on the dev's ass for copyright or whatever. So he had to redo everything, which resulted in the game we have today, which looks better but otherwise has a fair bit of catching up to do.

Am I in the ballpark or did I miss stuff?

Yeah I have the Android version. It's the only one I can play right now. I was referring to whether or not there's an Android version of the original game, y'know? I don't think there is

Get a desktop, they don't break completely.

I can run DOS games on Windows, but can't run Flash on Android. Must toss the phone's password with WiFi enabled, or pay for Puffin that may not even work. Thanks Papa Google.

You did. The girls were younger and chatted with each other a lot. Post-remake, lots of them are fucked once to never be remembered again.

Crawling on Kemono again, it seems like development has had three three-year periods. 2016-19 ended with Nintendo, 2019-22 ended with Phoebe. Only after Phoebe the devs really gave up on quality.

In regards to the top part, yeah, I'll probably do that. Desktops are generally better all around than gaming laptops (which is what I had before) anyway.

In regards to the bottom part, you've gotten me interested now. Can you tell me more about the older versions?

Like that arc where Felicia's perfection destroyed everyone's friendships.

Teen drama is surprisingly rare in porn, especially a good one.
Phoebe pics.png

Judging by Kemono, devs have spent three post-Nintendo years on (Faye, Vanilla,) Camo, Ellie, Sylvia, Mara and Phoebe (other cosplayers were absent back then). And they're all good. Only after came the swarm of uglies.

(How could they do this to you, my love!)

Also, devs made a Side-Quest where you switch plotlines to find money for pasta, but that's also PC-only.

So, 0.1155 is like the pre-Phoebe part, but several times bigger/denser and somewhat janky.

Interesting...
I'm sorry I don't have more to say about this at the moment. Like I mentioned in my review, I'm not super far into the game yet. So, I don't have anything from my playthrough to compare to what you're telling me yet, i.e. I don't know entirely what's different now or how different it is. But, this is really interesting! Once I have the means of actually playing it, I'm definitely gonna look into the older versions of Con-Quest, because I'm really curious now.

Hopefully the further I progress into the game, the more I understand what's changed. If you want, I can let you know when I've gotten further into the story! And, if not, I appreciate this info either way, man. This gives me something to look into even after I 100% the game, and I love that! It really is fascinating to learn how much history this game has.

Thanks again for telling me all this, man. It gives me a lot to think about

How long is this game right now? I see the small Number and worry that the amount of content or gameplay won't be here.

Excuse my poorly written grammar.
