Also, found a rather annoying little bug, though at least it doesn't compromise baseline functionality. When working as a field commander, the energy costs are lower compared to the field work. And although the post work text says it took the field work amount of energy (likely just a copy-paste oversight), it does actually drain the proper amount of energy that the pre-work text says it should have. However, even if you have the appropriate amount of energy, the game won't let you actually do the work unless you meet the old field work energy requirements.
On another note that I've only gotten to happen once and haven't been able to replicate given how random it is, I once had Mark come over to steal a girl, and he took Ying, despite the fact that I never had Ying in the first place. Looks like the check for who to kidnap doesn't take into account who's actually at your house or not.
