since the dev is willing to listen to feedback, I will say a few things.

first no one here has ever asked to remove that content, they are asking to give the possibility to avoid it, they are not asking to replace anyone with a woman, to create new and different scenes, no, they are simply asking to be able to say no to dating men.

I don't know what the need is to make the protagonist more “experienced” in order to start bringing out lesbian aspects, but for someone who is already written to be interested in women, it is the most normal thing in the world to be curious about women, if she could look for lesbian porn because that curiosity it would be a good start.

dating men is not necessary or relevant to those questions, just as men do not date other men to see if they are straight or not,so avoiding scenes with men serves in the story as a hint that she might be a lesbian so that she and her friends can question that a little bit, that serves as a plot point, I know it might take more effort but if you plan to do a lesbian route sooner or later those kinds of conversations are going to come up.

and if in the end you decide that she must have that type of intercourse with men, then this is your story and you see how to tell it, but as a tip I think it would be good to make it clear in the sinopsis, or in a developer note, as a warning for those who are looking for a lesbian route, because sooner or later the lesbian tag will come back and with it people looking for that.

I'm going a little off topic, but also a little rant, for those who think we are exaggerated man-haters.

first of all not wanting to have to flirt with men and date them is not hating anyone, if so straight men are the biggest manhaters in history, I would like to find male protagonist games where even though the dev says you can go the straight route, they are forced to flirt and date men to see how the majority react.

now imagine that this happens in 90% of your games, those of us who are looking for games with lesbian routes have to be constantly looking through the shit not to find something good, but something at least playable, the anger of many is because of the bad communication when a dev tells you that you can play a lesbian route and that they will take into account feedback for that you get excited, and when the next update gives you the straightest update ever made, which is not a bad thing that exists, the bad thing is that those of us who are looking for that lesbian route are forced to play it, i.e. is part of the lesbian route, it's like a kick in the balls.

hmmm, when you put it like that it feels a bit more reasonable. How I read it and sumerised it in my head is that most people straight up don't want to interact with men period. They don't even want the opportunity to say no the the guy's face, they want to do something else. Like you said you don't need to date a gender to know that you are or not interested in them, but to finally come out to yourself and maybe others it might be. It doesn't need to be written as a pleasant experience or anything.

To sum it up fears and taste can make things appear more black and white than they are. You might currently feel like the story is going to far in the straight way instead of the lesbian one while on the lesbian path so you push back. Normal, but reading the answers sometime feels like you want to wipe it all out. If anything I'm glad to see you elaborate on your feelings and expectations for the future. Feels more understandable and reasonable now.

It is to Ami tho. If you seen the last event (her fantasizing about Racheal) you can tell she either refuse to accept or is lying to herself about being interested into women and refuse to admit it. That also why the choice is "I'm not sure" not "I'm gay". She is not you or your vision of how "most" lesbian should be. She need to come to the realization and to be push outside her comfort zone for it, because she refuse/can't do on her own. She is extremely closed into herself and un-sociable. She is stuck in the closet but not out of fear or shame. But by exceptions, probably from the world and society at first but now that she is 19, maybe weirdly, mostly her own. Anyway that's how i see her character at her core and yes she would need to be fundamentally re-writed to change that imo. And it would obviously change a lot of the game too by extension. She was, as character, written and imagined as a pure straight girl at the beginning. That why she need a "uncommon" journey (it's probably not uncommon irl tho) otherwise the character wouldn't make sens if you really analise it.

I think it make for a super interesting take on a lesbian journey, one we don't see often/ever in avn too and it would be a shame to change it. Everyone has a unique journey, it should be accepted and it being different of what you usually fantasize about doesn't make it bad or unacceptable. If you don't want to follow the journey of such a character well... you know.

Anywayyyy, yes you have to wait a bit for now (the game is still fairly early) but i'm sure they will be plenty of it (girls only stuff) once the ball get going and Ami as come to term with what she truly like in this peculiar playthrough.

and if in the end you decide that she must have that type of intercourse with men
Again as stated multiple times, Ami won't have sex or be romantically engage with this dude or any other one if the player doesn't want to. I'm sure sure why you guys keep trying to push the narrative that the dev will force the MC/player to have sex with a guy . Going out with this guy for a bit will probably turn into nothing for players who are not interested into guys (except maybe some funny situation and moments of sass). What it will do tho,is probably, advance Ami into her journey toward girls and accepting herself.

I know waiting can be frustrating but you just have to accept that the lesbian "route" didn't truly start yet or move on. That being said i genuinely hope the dev manage to do a little something for those who really wait for girls and lesbian stuff next update. I enjoy it too even if i'm not gay myself and that not the main thing i'm here for.

as i said i would love to see how straight men would respond to the fact that their game with a male lead requires for them to date men
for the possibility of starting a straight route.

as you say at the end, you are not gay nor are you here exclusively for the lesbian content, so obviously you don't find that annoying or tiresome.

as some here have expressed, having to be showing interest in men, flirting with them, dating them, ruin the "lesbian" route for us, even if nothing is going to happen it's annoying to walk down a path full of shit, to see if there is something good at the end, I would love to take another path, but well as I know that there is not much chance of that happening as such I lost all interest in playing this

I simply say to the dev that if he wants to go down that road that's fine, but it would be good to leave a warning for people like me or others who do not tolerate that content in a lesbian route to see it.

Edit:

As someone who constantly looks for lesbian games I assure you that more than 90% of lesbian games are like this, it's the most common and most annoying trope of the “lesbian” routes, Since as the vast majority are not made by lesbians, it seems that the devs find it hard to believe that lesbians who have never dated men exist.

it's not interesting it's fucking shit again and I repeat I would like to see male lead games like this to see what people think.

Meabe37 wrote an excellent summary of Ami's character and her story so far, hence why Ami chose to accept Jessica's proposal to help her set up the date. The date's outcome will, obviously, hinge on player choices. Just a heads-up, the next update isn't only about Ami dating (but it is the focal point). And for the record, there's absolutely nothing stopping her (story-wise) from having her first experience be with a girl. The v0.5 ending was made to be the moment Ami starts truly exploring her sexuality (and sex in general), moving beyond just fantasizing about them in her head. Regardless, I greatly appreciate you sharing your feedback :)

well, it's time to move on and look for something I might like, I simply wish you good luck, and that you consider that when the lesbian tag return to put a warning, to not have people who do not tolerate any of that content in a lesbian route like me and many others here.

Would you mind sharing what's not working for you? :)
have Ami's perv stat above 10 and don't go all the way in the scene with the old guy at the club. Then, towards the end of v0.5.1, select "So, uh, how do I explain this? "

I recently released v0.5.1 to resolve that issue. Perhaps scrolling-back or re-doing the scene will fix it? Let me know if it still persists!

I wrote that I tried and it doesn't work. I started with a scene with lines: Sexy witch/Innocent Princess
