Honestly I don't get why people are so mad and sad about this game being abandoned. It was always the case that there were barely any upgrades. Also let's be honest:

This game is much more popular that it honestly deserves to be.
Just because this is one of the rare FF / Kingdom hearts fangames doesn't make it very good.
The only thing this tells me is that FF / Kingdom hearts games are very popular and there is a high demand for those games when there is even a huge fanbase for such a mediocre game.

The issue wasn't that they stopped making the game. Believe me, it deserved to be stopped. The problem is THAT THEY LIED about it.

i kinda have an idea on remaking this game and a story line but i don't have game making experience, some but out of date 3d modeling experience, and i don't know how to go about it.
Remaking this game is a bad idea. It'll need to be done from scratch. Ideally you would like it to be closer to the main franchise (minus the combat). Maybe similar to, but not the same as, Orange Trainer?
As for not having any program experience, YouTube. Start there. And if you're stuck, ask on both Ren'Py and F95 forums. Many people willing to help. You'll need an artist as well, unless you can draw. I can't, I'm a writer, not an illustrator.
It would be great if the interest to get a reboot for this hentai game would be great, I did enjoy the gameplay, but it was a bit of farming to get the target girls to increase in stats and Pregent them, getting the levels, equipment to move up as well.
Upgrading the block ship was a lot harder plus the cost was a lot, getting stuck in one world, like example after wonderland I was supposed to go the Midgard world, but I got stuck in Mulan world, could leave in the that world instill it was finish.
I do agree they should have managed closely to the Main Franchise of their opposite world in Disney, but I did mind of the redrawing of Alice to be older but would love to have her original little girl form, I like Aerith having a sexy body with Tifa as well.
