Hi look for help with game, i double click on it, the opening screen with "new game" "setting" "gallery" etc it works BUT when i click on new game the screen remain black and the game doesn't start. Any help/ suggestion? Thanks vero much i apppreciate and sorry for my bad english

note: DataNodes link for Win/Linux led to 2 downloads happening
1) claimed to be the cops-and-vices file, but was 20+MB instead of 611MB
2) the other claimed to be something called OperaFX, but who knows.

For a temporary solution, delete the persistent file from AppData->RenPy related to the game. The folder will be named either CopsAndVices or POLICE
Will fix it later

Quit game.
...\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\POLICE-1751221065\persistent
& ....\sync\persistent deleted.
...\CopsandVices-0.2-pc\game\saves\persistent deleted.
Run game.
Set options/preferences (since they were deleted).

Seems to work okay for the instances mentioned above.
