While I disagree with his action personally especially on f95 site, I don't want to push him too hard on it since I love his game and game dev is hard. Plus as pirates, we are all guilty of taking games for free but we also would have found a way to get the game eventually.

I love his game alot and want to see it complete but now its dead at the interesting update ever. Whatever happens with the devs and his followers privately is their business. There is only two html games I love and this is one of them,

The last time I critized a game dev for some controversial choices, I got crucified and got thrown hate so I don't do it anymore.

I don't care if the whole thread throws hate at me or if the dev puts my name in their game description as the reason why he's paywalling, I'll speak out against bad practices and I'll keep being a pirate. As a pirate I simply provided my fellows on this thread the game this thread is about.

The thing is as pirates, we don't exactly have a strong moral high ground to stand on playing games for free. Of course I personally do it if I'm seriously strap for cash which is all the time and love the game I play or demo it. I will give feedback but there is an art to it and what you are doing is really agressive and uncalled for. Plus you call me a coward which is pretty rude. No one is going to agree with you if you are being this rude and aggressive about it and I will call you out on it. Plus you yapped about it for the past 20 pages which will get get annoying after a while

Yeah its bad practices to paywall on f95 site and it def showed. And the dev should def chilled out from the drama. But both things don't make it right. The best course of action is to let this drama blow over and perhaps the game will be brought back up again. But dear lord this is the dumbest drama i've ever seen in my life

Whatever happens at your private discord is your business and trying to leak something out on public is pretty disrespectful unless there is massive shit going on. All I can say is to try and chilled out from the drama and hopefully things will blow over. The drama here is not helping out your dev that's for sure and maybe you might learn somthing new here after this whole ordeal

Like I said, I'm tired of your toothless arguments. "Pirates have no moral ground to stand on". Is charging your players for content thhat was once available to them moral? How many times do I have to repeat it. This site is for pirates to share games. When I first joined it wasn't even the devs who uploaded their own games, it would be uploaders who had access to the full version of games who shared them. There would be a few devs who shared their game on here but they wouldn't charge for content at best they'd have a patreon where you could donate if you wanted and get a test build earlier. But a few years back there was a shift and then every random joe with a laptop started making html porn games and posting 0.00001 beta versions and linking their patreons. We have no obligation to eachother on this site. In this case I'm just returning things to what they were and sharing the full version of the game

And I am tired of your entitled behavior who spreads toxicity like a plague. While the devs could have handle it better and be a bit more upfront, devs do deserve to get paid for their work if they are doing this for a living or a passion project that can get them out of their day job. Whether through Patreon or directly selling the game. It's actually both immoral and illegal to download pirated games and I am very grateful this site has not been nuked yet like many other Piracy sites so I can personally try out games myself.

Your attitude has cause this unnecessary drama that could have been easily been avoided (same goes to the dev too) if you actually give out respectful feedbacks. Granted, the dev should have done the same as well and not scapegoat you as well, but the damage is done.

And again, this is a pirate site where we download games for free without the creators permission. We don't have a moral high ground to just call out the devs for being greedy and driving them out of the site or otherwise risk losing this site altogether. It makes us too entitled and not being able to fully appreciate the hard work it goes to developing the game.

All you have done is yap and whine all day and sometimes, you just need to learn to take a chill pill and touch grass once in a while.

I have to agree that locking (previous) content behind paywalls, especially if the images/gifs/videos for that content are stolen from the internet anyway, is not the way to go. The people on this site are very good to devs if you treat your fans well, even waiting to post early Patreon builds despite being a pirate site. I understand the struggles of a dev trying to make some extra income but I feel like Gakko_dev is shooting themselves in the foot here out of spite.

That said, I don't think spamming this thread with constant criticism is very nice either. We should just let it all cool down a bit and perhaps we can return to focusing on the game, which is quite good.

Yeah I should've known better... Thanks for reminding me. That's why I'm gonna stop making this game for a while and focus on GNM which has no paywalled content at the moment

And I have to clarify that the gal "call up my flings" content got locked by updates which normally would be fine but the only way to continue her storyline was by playing the subscriber version. So essentially if you don't have the subscriber version you can no longer play the old gal content. What do you call that when it happens? You'd say the content is locked right?

It has never been with the creators permission, that's the whole point of piracy. Devs themselves chose to share their games on a piracy site. Some people might want to support the devs and that's fine. However like I said, this dev chose to personally run a crusade on me for calling out bad practices. Beyond that I don't care about your anguished whimpers. Scream, cry and scold at me all you want it doesn't matter.

Also I can assure you, I'm not yapping or whining. My words have no control over the dev, he chose himself to paywall content and to stop developing corpo life. If you have a problem with that talk to the dev. Also I don't know what all day means to you. I come on every now and then to comment and leave. I can assure you I do go outside which is why I don't worship devs like gods but thank you for caring about me babe.
