So ... with dev on a hiatus and all ... how do you feel this game has come so far into becoming something something ... ?

This and how the whole scene developed (working for the PM and having to travel, but barely being able to cover the rent with that - feels painfully realistic) is one of the many reasons why I called this game black-pilled through and through and a set-up for a future Fight Club or American Psycho situation. Also, screenshot related.
That one male friend tries to save the situation with his optimistic PUAish "fake it till you make it" attitude, but that doesn't change the fact that absolutely no-one, not even his schizo alter ego (huge red flag here) likes him for who he is or for what he does, not even in the moment.
It's a matter of the status of the means of transport, one job beating another, especially as a bloke and he's stuck in life right now because his female boss usurps the credit owed to him. Also if you kiss her before grabbing her puss she goes on a stupid "I don't want to lose you as a friend, i.e. white knight to abuse, get nice dates and flirt with, but nothing more" rant.
Even Elsa is abusive, she's less-than-friendzoned him and she's taken most of the screen time. The project and overtime are less than rivetting, but it's an important story element and I feel it's given so much attention because it adds to the black-pilling. Also, his road to actual improvement, using the books for instance, barely was given any screen time. I can see this end in insanity, blood spatters and explosions.

Ok, you're really gonna want to remove the Kill Bill music before someone DCMA's your ass.

It may just be a coincidence but the protagonist is named "Edward", and he is talking to his "Imaginary friend" and working ina a "boring office environment". Edward Norton was the protagonist in fight club. It would kick ass if this game turned into a fight club sort of situation because I'm sick of Eddy being a little cunt, and he needs to grow a pair. Not that fights (not counting catfights) are ever much fun in adult games Eddy here could use a good punch in the jaw to make a man of him. This game needs more violence. I hope it goes fight club.

To give you my take on it, I don't think it's coincidence at all and that probably is the reason why we can only change our surname. That's why I mentioned it. I see the inspiration, though not a clear rip-off whatsoever, from that sort of movies and novels smeared thick on this one. I mean, the two obvious paths of improvement for MC are 1) physical and tackling that pillock (Fight Club) and 2) climbing up the corporate chain and acquiring loads of munz (American Psycho). I'm actually a big fan of those two (I found them containing more wisdom than my uni philosophy course, together with 1984), I just don't like the near constant NTR and sissy vibe we got so far that was absent in the mentioned two films. The one thing I hope for is that we can screw, both literally and figuratively, those who abuse MC right now, including Elsa and the boss, who looks rather ravishing in that preview screenshot - why was that moment so short.


Asian, that's classical Western movie music. I already thought it sounded too good to be completely open domain, but I had no idea the dev even took something from Kill Bill. Only fuels my current expectations of this game. It's going to hit the fan.

That makes her and the whole situation even worse. So it was a matter of who lied best? No brakes will be applied during the next update then.

I guess my real problem so far is that this character feels extremely out of our control. I really just want to smack him and tell him to take a look at Zoe who clearly has the hots for him (and probably got raped by those two guys since you don't even get the option of telling her not to go), but he has tunnel vision on a girl he only met once. I mean, this is going to stalker levels of obsession and Elsa is just egging him on.

My take is MC is down the deep end of flushed into the deepest insignificant impossible hole in the 47th hell dimension:
Elsa even pitches in some money of her own in this rat race she entered MC into, boss dqaughter actually take his jacket
after a whole night of screwing every male on campus because MC thought: Why let the school skank actually study 4 once?

It seems to me that such an icy attitude during sex is quite erotic and will match to her character in game.

Well ... slim chance of that happening, as MC needs a personal traiuner and some real huge fire under him to improve.
Also .. bear in mind he ahs had friends getting ripped all around him yet he would not pich that sport up.
Then he would ignore his babe so drastically she would use one of his friends as a release and he would be heart broken.
Yet he has good frineds still trying their best to push him into social interaction, under their wing, together, for naught.

Only time will tell when and if we can get out of the slave level stockholm syndrome MC is at right now and back to life.

The way I see it everyone is trying to use the MC for their own benefits. The golddigger and the boss are easy and direct, while Elsa and Alice are a bit smarter at it. Elsa and Alice both realised that and are now competing, the end of last update (and the hair fixing by Elsa) being a clear demonstration of power each of them has over MC and want to prevent the other from controlling him. I do not think there are any good characters in the game, at least not at this point in the story. They might change later, since it does appear the MC is influencing those around him while they do the same to him.

For now I'm in the Elsa camp, she is at least demonstrating how and when she exerts her control over the MC, and, imo, is giving more than enough hints about her using him and his project to rise through the corporate ranks.

Alice is just a lazy slut that just saw a new toy to use. I have no doubts she is even worse than Elsa. I expect this to show as soon as MC, at some point, goes against her wishes.

I really like music in main menu. I noticed that this is the first game in which every time after starting I don't rush to load the save, and for some time just listen music and enjoy looking at main menu image, they perfectly fit each other. I like details on it - the way Elsa looks at Alice (as an rival), how the guy completes tasks from the boss on the left. There are funny things like the inscription Brisbane upside down (in Australia everything is upside down). I also like funny hand-drawn images that appear before main menu. Like a cube escaping from a human, or when you try to fight the government, fail and your horse is upset too. Because of all this, this is the first game I enjoy before even playing the game itself.

Only thing keeping her and Elsa together is the fact of being heiresses and princesses who are used to give nothing,
who would need to sell their bodies to whoever is on parr with them, because it is all they know.
This is what Elsa bluntly tell MC out of prison, yet he is so out of it he sticks around like a lost puppy.
NEVER DO THAT IRL! NEVER! Such bimbos treat and disdain everyone else like they are just beneath them.

I also like Elsa, as well as her icy demeanor. But in sex, such behavior will indicate either her frigidity, or her habit of rape. It will be better if she sings during sex (IMHO)

Hi missviola69. Yes, passionate during sex Elsa will be a interesting contrast to her usual behavior. Of course it's better when sex brings pleasure to both. I don't like rape with tears, screams, coercion etc. I just like the idea when a woman, with consensual and without blackmail allows to use her body, as a favor. This is how I see the image with Frozen Elsa posted above. For example, incest fantasy where caring mother allows her son to have sex with her while he doesn't have a girlfriend. Just recently I discovered this game, played it and finished it, and now I feel really frustrated.

Why? Well because I have now got to wait until the next update comes out to carry on playing this amazing game.

What a unique and refreshing story Sqwl the Developer has created, with some amazing renders and with some really good looking and likeable characters.

And what a great sense of humour the developer has, there were quite a few times he had me laughing out loud with some of the lines the characters spoke.

I got really absorbed in this game, and so I was really disappointed when the end arrived, as this is one game I want to be able to see and play in its entirety when the developer finally completes this game.

One of the best games I have played so far.

Hey, guys. I thought I'd check-in and render something for you.

I was going to write to you a week earlier but caught some long-lasting flu - can't smell or taste anything for two weeks already. Yeah, I still hope that it's just flu, lol.
