Let me make a wild guess here.. You have Nvidia graphic card and using the latest drivers?

I've been having issues with all my Ren'Py games closing down for no reason, with no reports, as well, for a month or so.
Investigated and tried to fix it for a while, had tech friend help, long story short: It's an Nvidia driver problem, probably connected to i9 processor and windows update.

Yup nvidia & intel combo on my end as well, like a lot of gamers.
I agree that it reeks of hardware/software conflict but unlike you I'm only getting crashes with this specific Renpy game.
Like you said the only thing that I can do that helps is save often & hope that it goes away one day.

Bug:
Time listed for video and photo shoots doesn't match how much in game time passes.

Video shoot examples:
1) I start a video shoot at 15:17. Time listed for the shoot is 135m. End time is 16:52. So actual time taken is 95m.
2) Start at 17:37. 80m shoot. 18:17 end time. 40m actual time.

Formula for listed video shoot time seems to be 45m setup + 5m per shot. Actual time looks to be 5m setup + 5m per shot.

Photo shoot examples:
1) 18:17 start. 105m for 12 shots. 19:22 finish. Actual time of 65m.
2) 19:22 start. 165m for 24 shots. 21:27 end time. Actual time of 125m.

Like with video shoots, formula looks to be 45m setup + 5m per shot for listed time. Actual time looks to be 5m setup + 5m per shot.

So, either the time listed is not accurately reflecting how stats or upgrades or something have reduced the setup time, or else the actual time passed isn't accurately accounting for the 45m setup time.

For non base game ones it's the file called trait_database_ren located in CorruptedAcademy-0.42-win\game\scripts\databases

Bug: Some mother events are not working. At least office events are affected. Reason seems to be in class_event_manager_ren.py where separate_mothers handling updates the mothers list from a list that does not contain any mothers. So, there is maybe never any valid mothers for the events.

How to shoot a video for sponsors?

Since sponsors are asking for it, I'm assuming you've already unlocked the video shoots option at a PTA meeting.

In order to make an actual video shoot, go to the photo studio. At the top center, just to the right of where it says "setting up a photo shoot", there's an arrow facing right. Click that, and it'll change from photo shoot to video shoot.
