I tried installing the generic base video pack manually and placed it in the game's mods folder as shown in the mod page. The game refuses to detect it unless I give it internet access and download it from the game's own modmanager window. Its BS and these are usually signs of some sketchy things going on in the background.

Hello friend. I will say, absolutely this is just not the case. You absolutely can download any mod you want externally and place it in the correct folders without the game ever touching the Internet. If you need help with that, I am willing.

These unlock some things in the Extracurricular activity, when she visits to do work at your place. I can make what they do clearer.
First upgrade should be obvious what it does
Second lets high discipline girls burn food, I think you can't get every achievement without it
Third shows a UI during the event that tells you info as it goes along (or at least should)
Fourth lets you know before you call a girl if she'll accept the offer

The names give no clue whatsoever as to them being useful in anyway. I thought they were all jokes and didn't waste money on them.
I'm still not sure what the first one does, even though you think it's obvious, it's not, what does eye saver 2000 color fix mean???
Perhaps if you already know what they are, these make sense.... but they look like snake oil.

There is a new version uploaded on the 28th after dev was called out for the issue. The version I got on 26th that is 0.516 did not recognize manually installed mods. As I said before, I tried the pathing shown in the mod website, then also tried with different renames, etc. It didnt detect the generic video mod and wouldn't let me start the game without it. I have added mods to WTM before, also LabRats 2, Influencing, and others.

Feel free to write down your method, I can still test it out on the blocked 0.516 version. But the fact that the game refused to start without an internet connection still stands and it is very suspicious.

Also, if the dev is going to make the game unplayable without the base generic video pack then why the FUCK does it not just come prepackaged with the game? That kind of bait to make an internet connection necessary is stupid at best, and an easy way to sneak in malware at worst. We all know how recently games here have been getting compromised more and more.

Was there anything specific that errored with the mods? The pathing has changed recently, can you link to what guide you were following?

You would need to ask Hex, but I think he was struggling with the Android 2GB limit on installs or something (I am not an expert on Android) so he was trying to separate them to make it compatible with Android. That is my understanding anyway.

As a side note, I totally agree with your posture on always on stuff. We are on the same page there. This game is not always on, though.

mine don't look close to this lol game works but its not even a white box with question mark its just the box with red text giving a path that has all the thumbnails and it doesnt load. I delete the folder let it redownload and still nothing. this is on mac.

if anoyne else using mewslut as a girl is her fullbody image just a black cutout?

wanted to circle back to this but also had another question what if i had girls downloaded from the modsheet before but then added them through the mod manager will they show up twice? And if so which folder would i delete with out breaking the game?

Something seems to be wrong with wirox's Amirah Adara expansion mod. I ended up deleting all of the Amirah Adara files in order to be able to launch the game.

Something seems to be wrong with wirox's Amirah Adara expansion mod. I ended up deleting all of the Amirah Adara files in order to be able to launch the game.

The same issue exists with Wirox's Geisha Kyd mod as well.

You can fix it by deleting the event from either the base version or the expansion (probably the base, since the expansion expands a bunch), until Wirox fixes the issue. But probably best to hold off on grabbing Wirox's girls for now and deleting any issue causing addons you already have grabbed, until they are properly implemented. et's Abella Danger also has this issue, so that's another modder to avoid for now.

Also, BolHeX, some modders seem to be adding the girls to the the _mods/addons folder, rather than the girl or mother one. The mods causing the above issues among them. Perhaps the base version should always have to go in girls or mothers, and if that isn't found, the game should throw up a warning and not load any addons for said girl/mother.

Happened after downloading the Abella Danger Add-on.
Two folders created :
et_abella_danger_add_on
et_abella_danger_add_on_mainhex

I deleted "et_abella_danger_add_on" folder.

Probably dumb game play related question, but despite having the expansions now for e.g. the Art and Music class room, and despite having over a dozen alumni, I can't seem to figure out how and where to assign a teacher for those. I'm sure I'm missing something. Could someone tell me where this can be done? Thanks!

In the upgrades screen, for the main school, there will be a circle for rooms with the option to staff someone unlocked. Click those to assign someone.

Minor QoL issue:
If you click on a staff member circle where you have a staff member assigned in the upgrade screen and then click the clear selection button, there's no message given that the spot has been cleared. And since the current person will already be working, that icon will still show someone as there.

There should be a message similar to the "X will work as your secretary from tomorrow" so the player has feedback on their action. Also, that message is missing an "on" after "tomorrow".
