is it just me or is the game much slower?? its all happening so slow to get of the house or retrun to some previous actions how can i fix this ? just the game itself or may i have too many girls and mothers inside there ? 150girls and 80 mothers

following on from HotMike's comment it's got me thinking.

I trimmed my install to be 50 girls/50 mothers with only a couple of "to be used with" pairs, anyone know why even though there's a matching amount of girls/mothers I've ended up with two out of the first 6 girls in a new game with"clone" mothers rather than one of the 50?

if you let the system randomly assign it still allows for a chance. I think it comes down to the fact that you can have mothers that won't work with some daughters, I think some of the Asian girls only allow like 6 mothers and if they were used up before you got to them then even with mothers available than you end up with the generic

ah, that's likely it. I'll check the settings later.

Also check the settings icon on the choose the girl screen. the game defaults to 75 percent chance of choosing a unique mother and even when you change it (for example to 100 percent) it sometimes changes back to some other number eacj week. I've been assuming it relates to how many girls to mothers you have loaded.

Also you can choose specific mothers for each girl if you click on where it says how many mothers are available. I tend to do that when there are specific models required for somebody's events to unlock

I haven't tried since the mod manager update, so I don't know how much of a tendency it has to be overwritten, but you can also edit the config files to specify a daughter for each mother. Does anyone know if this can be made into a mod that overwrites the default (typically random) daughter setting?

That would be a lot of work. It could be done if the girl mods would not have any content and only the config. Then a player can choose which girl option to install, and then separately install the content for the girl. Ideal, but a massive amount of work to keep all modders in line.

Sidejacking from this.

I know there's a bit of flexibility in post start console changes for traits, is there any way to safely alter the mod/main game girl configs so that stuff like the finance is left random without impacting the game running properly?

Preferably also in a way that means that it only detects updates when the author pushes them rather than a "this code version doesn't match release commit", not sure if mod manager handles that by looking for something as simple as a TOC/Vernum like I'm used to for other games I bodge stuff for.

Context : I'd like to have finance be truly random unless it actually matches the person, and changing some whether up or down at a point past admission seems to reset randomly to their admission value and that seems to be set first time it spawns even using debug regen option.

Also I'm curious about the fact that people have said adding lines to the configs breaks stuff. Surely if it's being done in something like VSC and proper indents/closures are maintained it should be fine to add traits as long as the format is correct and closures are correct?

Probably Hex knows better. But:
- the mod manager is really just a downloader and unpacker. There is no version control
- You can change the girl config yourself and add traits for financial situations. Do this before the game loads her. Once admitted into the academy you need to use console commands to change things.
- The config is a json so you should indeed use json formatting (no indentation, but commas are a pain)

Cheers, that would explain a lot since it only seems to hardlock the traits for me at Application stage ( even then it may just be with Wealth it's a small result pool it's drawing from since I've only really seen Broke/Modest/Rich ).


And aye,used Sublime before moving to VSC for editing/bodging so it'll be fine and I'm also use to working with JSONs for manifests or in the case of Battletech full defines so until I start looking at actual adding of custom defines should be all good as VSC should catch line terminations and closures automatically. Handy to know that indents is for readability and not a preset or required like ind4 or ind8 like somethings want,

Issue : Mia Malkova Mod / Church of Eve conflict

Details : if Mia is picked for Missionary work and ends up in the Girls house and F/F scene it softlocks on the video with no way to exit apart from full close ( right click/escape/rollback etc are all unusable ) or progress past the vid loop

Type : fatal / reproducable / always occurs

I can work round it for now by just not sending her but it's now been something like six for six in a row for softlock so flagging it up as that seems beyond a transient/random glitch now

Hi, new hotfix broke the game for me and now it doesn't launch.. I don't know how to fix this error, can someone help with this?

The spreadsheet has a Natasha Nice mod. It's a mother/daughter pack, with Natasha as both, mother named Tasha.
