I tried the other way and I must say I was impressed.(supportive Alan) I kinda liked it better. Maybe because she can't even blame it on Alan if something happens, while with a "jerk" husband it is easier for her go through the cheating...Anyhow can't wait to see both way till the of the story. I dont really understand why these people want redemption anyway, after his wife gets banged by like 10 guys why the hell would you want her back anyway? Shes damaged goods at that point so to want her back after that shows very little self-respect for yourself. Knowing your wife is sleeping with other men and still wanting to stay with her is a really pussy move and I cant understand why someone would do it. I agree with alot of what you said especially the fact that she is an espionage agent and might end up having to set up honeytraps again. So I dont really see it ending well and also add that to the fact that the game is literally called "Corrupted Hearts" you can presume that the wife is meant to be corrupted as part of the story no matter what.
To each his own but imo, if you take the penalty route I don't think she is going to get banged by any villains as dev said. So she can't be a lost cause and would still have feelings for MC.
But that's why choices exist. Each of us can get the ending we want.
The title of the game with the word "Hearts" is plural. So I am guessing Clara's heart isn't the only one in the equation.

from the what I did read in your comment your basing everything you say off the assumption that im some huge netorare fan or something which is not the case. I do like some of it and thats because I can differentiate reality from fiction and I play these games objectively. Ie: I dont act like the girl is my real life woman like many do. I understand that some people that play these games do and that is where my question is directed. The question is directed at people who self insert into these games and want to get back with a wife that is getting used like an onahole. The same thing could be said for the netorare people as well. But if you want to base things off reality I will say this, even if a woman is in love with you, if she doesnt respect you she is gonna cheat and do whatever she wants.
