That's where your wrong. What button did you the player or Alan press for the unavoidable betrayal? The story does what the dev wants, you/Alan only get to choose to lesson the bad things or not. The story has the bad things happen either way you as the player just get to choose if it goes bad or not. So saying the player or Alan are the only ones responsible for the bad things is a totally false.

In some scenes we are able to choose Clara's decisions also.

Even if Alan "the player" makes good decisions, Clara will fuck Leon at least once, her adultery is not avertable.
Besides we don't know what will happen in the future. (perhaps even less control of the events/outcomes)

De ha úgy döntesz, hogy átmész Clarához, amikor Leon ott van, és megkérdezed Leont, mit csinál ott ilyen későn, 4 bátorsági pontot és 3 szeretetpontot kapsz. Clara pedig elutasítja Leont, és azt mondja magában, hogy nem érdekli, milyen képet látott Annáról és Alanről, mert bízik Alanben. Vanillia útján csak egy nagy árulás történik, és ez megtörtént, és maga Clara fogja elmondani Alannek ezt az árulást, és azt, hogy mi történt és mit tett Anna. Clara azt hiszi, hogy Alan csalt, de ez nem igaz, itt is félrevezették őket, és Clara még rosszabbul fogja magát érezni, hogy Alan nem csalt. A végén még sok megbeszélnivalójuk lesz a vaníliás úton, csak a Leonnal és Alannal való csalás fog itt robbanni, Grace miatt Annáról is gondoskodnak, ha lesz elég bátorságpontod, Alan a végére kész atombomba lesz.
