Hello everyone (tldr below), I guess this is going to be my last and final message for all those who genuinely supported this game or wanted something good to come out of it. I would have put this up in patreon if not for the so-called "partner" who runs the page and also scammed me of my earnings.

After the game was put on hold, I still continued working on renders whenever I can, be it few minutes here and there in a week, just so that I wouldn't let down those who were still supporting the game despite the announcement.

But just a month in, this "partner" guy didn't send me my earnings with the reason that his internet connection wasn't "consistent". That has to be the most dumbest reason I have ever heard but like a fool I decided to give him some time. Another month passed and this time he says his friend changed the paypal password and he can't access the money. Even if that was the case, he never took the time to inform me or delink the paypal account from patreon. So that was more than enough to make me realize what a scammer he was, pocketing over 1000$ by now. I would strongly advise anyone who is still supporting the page to cancel your subscription. I regret not warning you guys earlier instead of hoping he wasn't scamming.

Anyway, enough about that guy. On the brighter side, I got a new full-time job that's actually decent for the first time in my life but keeps me busy most of the time.

I never thought "Corrupted Hearts", the only game I ever made would end like this. Even if I want to, I don't have the time or energy to continue this game. Not right now. I need to focus on my career now. Maybe once my career is stable, I will remake this in a better way and learn from my initial newbie mistakes.

But for now, I am putting up the incomplete renders here so that those who are interested can see what I have been planning for the new update, though it's a shame I wouldn't be able to show it's complete form, especially with the dialogues and all even though the script was written as well.

The gist of this scene was MC coming upon Dylan trying to blackmail Clara though he doesn't hear what they are talking about but becomes suspicious based on your choice. Dylan literally wants her ass so badly that he wanted to try and trap/entice her. Clara may or may not resist based on the choices so far but I am showing the most corrupted version of her in the renders. She tells herself that she could put Dylan in her pocket by getting close to him and maybe make him useful to her in the future.

Later on as you can see, Clara looks towards the door because MC enters the bathroom (Anna brought him there on purpose) and she realizes how fucked up this situation is. I didn't get to render ahead but you all can guess how this goes.

I had so much plans for how this game was going to end but I guess I will have to save them for the future, in case this game ever makes a return.

I am truly sorry to those I disappointed and let down, especially ones who were looking forward to the next update. I just don't know what else I can say because I can't make up for it. Not now anyway. But thank you to those who still wanted to support me when I was out of a job and the game was on hold.

I am sorry to hear about the problems you have experienced as a creator. First of all the scam, which is unforgivable. Second, being unemployed and how the stress of that can affect your motivation. Happy to hear you have a new job. You are perfectly right to prioritize that. I think most of us will understand and support that choice. I have seen your game before, but started a playtrough this December. Great story and plot. I also like that you can hide the perspectives of supporting characters. Creates tension and mystery to the story which is especially interesting for a cheating or netorare oriented game.
Best of luck with your job! If you decide to return to this game, you have my support.

Very disappointing indeed, I really enjoyed this game, felt its renders and work was really of the better AVNs on here. While happy the developer, or seemingly the decent one has and is getting their career going, it and the fact that the other partner did what they did (allegedly) this AVN is now no longer in development. Though I would hope that the developer does release any rights and assets to anyone willing to carry on with this AVN, anyone with the skills, inclination and a fan that would want to keep with this current script, tone and setting who would see it through to its eventual conclusion. This is simply a terrible waste of overall great content. Please consider what I mentioned, for the developer and anyone willing to carry on this great work.
