I can understand making updates can take some time But all the updates spend on side stories could have been used for main story

honestly, at this point i can only assume arc has no idea what he wants to do with the story and is trying to figure it out because we went from constant story and stat releases to nothing but side releases
i don't mind the highschool because it always was a major location but the jackie content feels like constant meandering for next to no reason

To be fair, the updates may be small, but the dev updates a lot more frequently. I'd take these small, regular updates over the alternative. I know some devs like to "milk it", but I don't currently think this is one of them.

I disagree. I've been following and supporting content creators for years and this is all too common. I stopped supporting this game when the dev started milking it. The side-content drags on and on but there's been no real story progression in a year.
If you (as a content creator) are not intending to milk your supporters then you have a responsibility to plan your game project properly. For starters, you don't start actually building the game until you've finished writing and planning the story to completion. Along the way you can add additional side content but you should already know where the story is going and how it ends. Have you ever heard of a film studio beginning production and filming of a movie before they've completed the script?

I figured out how to do it. It won't give a "prompt". If found the first fish girl in the lake where explore near Gramps' house. You g West-West-South I think. And then you go back to the marina and it say how to get them together. Basically use Whistle in the Nexus- Key and the cutscene will play.
Still didn't work, I've already met the fishgirl in the lake, and the MC mentions finding a place for her, but then I don't get the option at the marina.

I don't even download updates anymore. Well, unless they're the interesting ones that involve the MC kids because those are cute moments or new skill points to be gained. I just read the changelog every update because the Typo Hero stuff cracks me up for some reason. I'm waiting for Chastity and Morgana to get content. Especially Chastity since she's my favorite. Also, I'm still waiting for Kana's Mom to come back, if ever. Unless I missed it during my playthrough.
All the other side quests are nice and I wouldn't want less content but I don't feel the desire to play any of it yet. Imagine if I did play all that side content now. My save hoarding would increase even further! I'm in the 200+ page range already! By the time I'm actually finished, I'd easily be in the mid 300s range. Thank god for this update adding those save page jumping stuff because jesus!
