So i just downloaded the game today (ik hooray for me for being late to the game). anyways i have run into my first hang up. pixie says theres a lady outside the flat and to go for a walk, and i might just be having a special moment and its super simple but ive talked to everyone and the storyline doesnt continue. Any guidance would be much appreciated

Yeah I can see that. Like the Freeza Saga were 5 minutes stretched as far as it could go... Though to be fair in Act 1 Arc didn't have much of a budget, a dream, and was promising the world to get funding. In Act 2 Arc had a better budget but had to keep up the appearances of full-filling those promises so the dream kinda got shelved. Only Arc truly knows how far along on the original outline this is.

Really as long as the milking cow is happy and producing milk it's easier to keep up the slice of life stuff.

How do i use my previous savefile 0.8.9 to latest version properly? because when i loaded the savefile to new version it's not really triggered any event with the latest version. because i've seen the changelogs that there is something new occur but it didn't trigger the events with my (savefiles?). Do i have to start from fresh game or what? sorry for bad englando becoz i type this on phone rn.

Edit: i did overwrite my previous savefile 0.8.9 to 0.9.0 and it worked.

I'm assuming by the question you are updated to the latest version and you have access to all your saves, correct?

I'm also going to assume you are in Act 2 otherwise the updates don't mean much until then.

This update was mostly a filler one so not much to trigger.

By Act 2 you should have a concept of in-game time. Assuming you did Jessica's house hunting bit then the housewives are available. Lucille is simply going Shopping in the Evening.

Lily can be invited to go on a Date at the Park. If you had a kid with her then she can join in on this Date. I assume it's a Morning to Afternoon thing.

Tom I guess had something if you progressed through the story enough that you can access the Cafe. There wasn't an option to kill him so I didn't pay much attention to this. Mostly I tried asking him a question but there were no questions to ask...

Yes, except the Lil Lily event because i don't have her yet in my current savefile, i finished everything including Quest, Love and all the galleries already unlocked. Just waiting for the new quest update i guess.

• Bug: My new computer went blooey over my break and I had to go back to my old one, which unfortunately reverted some changes to the UI elements. All back to normal now!

I would assume so if he didn't manage his keys when switching hardware.

Sometimes Ren'py and Android don't get along together. Follow the steps below exactly as written and it should solve your issue!
1. Backup the existing game files using File Manager or similar.
2. Delete CK completely from your phone.
3. Download and install the new CK update
4. Move the save files from your backed-up copy into the new CK folder
(Remember the "persistent" file if you want to keep your gallery unlocks)
5. Play!

Saves are located at: Android/data/com.domain.corruptedkingdoms/saves

IF YOU'RE ON ANDROID 11+: You will have to use an app like X-Plore or connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable to get access to the data folder.

I'm going to assume they won't get to the "young adults" stage. Only because it's a can of worms Arc doesn't seem to keen on dealing with though dependent on how long it takes for him to get to Act 3 and inevitably the conclusion of this game it might be hard for him not to
