I see TheBlueKnight already linked the song (thank you!), but to answer your question about adding voices: I don't have any plans to do so currently, but I haven't ruled it out if we hit enough goals on Patreon.

The reason is, it would be a huge undertaking (advertising, auditioning, contracts, having to record new lines for updates, downloading and organising all the voice files, sound-balancing, etc. If I do it, I would want it done to a professional standard.) so it's not something that could feasibly be done by myself.
Voice acting is always a critical part for me if indie devs are involved. No, it's not about me thinking they have no taste/idea how it should be done but more about the costs. Maybe you can start with moaning and sex noises (butt slapping, hips smacking against butts, wet pussies getting filled with fast dick thrusts, etc.) and then decide if you want more or if people are even interested to get more.

From there you can decide to add partial voice acting for sex scenes. Imo voicing the entire game would be too expensive.

Yeap, partial voicing (moans, slaps, etc) can be achieved without hiring actresses. There is plenty of stock sounds made by professionals, some are even free.

Just a quick FYI to let everyone know that the v0.2.4 update just went live for and Changelog is at the top of the Patreon page.

In this update Jessica's storyline continues to move along (I'm trying to push it through quickly to the point where players can buy the Manor!), we uncover more of the mystery behind Emma, and our Council Member Poll winner gets a new scene (Asteria! Who knew?)

As always, getting the Patron update out on time means the public release will happen first thing Wednesday morning :)
It seems odd to talk about buying the place when we've been living there for weeks. I know it's a requirement for the upgrades, but still. Also the 'Continuing to work on compressing image files' part confuses me; it only takes a few minutes to crunch the entire game, yet this is taking weeks?

Don't mean to barge into your comment, but I believe that they're trying to convert .png files to .webp to decrease filesize of game. And for a person who may not be experience with that and may need to learn how to even do it, then it could take some time.

Normally you use a script to convert lots of images to webp. The problem is, then you have to fix images extensions everywhere in the code.

That's what find and replace is for though. Not to mention that in Ren'Py you don't typically have extensions in the code, do you? I thought it just took basenames and determined the file types by itself. It just seems bizarre that something typically done in a few minutes is taking so long, and I wondered why.

Indeed. So it's either lack of webp script or a code that heavily uses extensions (you still can use them in renpy if you don't know how to determine them automatically). I can't see any other reason to spend a lot of time on webp conversion, tbh.

If you're using nested folders and doing anything with images more complex than the most basic "scene" or "show" statements then yes, you have to define file extensions. There's also a difference between lossy .webp (which doesn't retain transparencies) and lossless .webp (which does retain transparencies but at a higher filesize than lossy) which makes batch conversion a little more time-consuming.

Couple that with the fact that I'm keeping the gui images as .png as both Photoshop and my image viewing programs like it much better, the fact that I'm self-taught so I've been going slow whilst I educate myself so I don't cause more problems down the line, and that the compression hasn't been my top priority (on top of the fact that I have a job which takes up a lot of my time, and various family matters going on) and it's taken me longer than I intended, or that it arguably should have.

That being said, the conversion is about 90% as of this moment, and I fully expect it all to be finished by tonight. So the next update will be a noticeably smaller filesize, with no visible loss of image quality. Yay.

So I'm still missing two girls in the character thingie, the one besides morgana and the last one, it's that all or do I have to search for them? If so, can you give me a clue please? I'm literally lost lmao

The last two "locked" Character Cards are for upcoming characters - they're not in the game just yet, although I'm hoping to introduce them very soon! Sorry for the confusion :)

Just a thought, but if you're going to continue a weekly update schedule, perhaps an update patch format would be good? It's starting to get pretty big to redownload each time.

This is actually a lot harder than you'd think to implement and would unfortunately just add too much to my workload to be worthwhile. I've just finished converting most of the in-game images from .png to .webp so the next update will be roughly 300MB smaller, but that's about all I can realistically do I'm afraid. Thanks for the suggestion, though :)

Ah, I appreciate the clarification, no worries then!
