there were post here with screenshot from steam about someone complaining of use of the world trap for trans before, but it's probably was deleted for whatever reason. Late reply, but as someone said, the team working on coc2 said they hated mods for coc1 because of their "shitty writing", and Savin also stated that "mods wont be supported". Also someone (bubble-lord) on the forums said that people could just submit content to the team, making mods pointless.

the "shitty writing" thing is just excuse fen, savin and rest use to forbid the mods. coc revamp had good writing, but they still bullied kitteh to abandon it. mainly savin with his obsession with helia, salamanders and the whole "dont touch my things" attitude.
and submitting content doesn't mean it will be automatically added to the game, especially if they didn't like the particular fetish/race/etc. that's the whole point of mods existing, to add things that dev didn't want to add or didn't even though to add.

You forgot to mention that these mods also allowed the champion to brutally murder companions, which didn't go very well with Fen and Savin.
Another thing is that modded versions of CoC1 weren't immediately obvious (blame how Flash works for that) and could be easily confused for the vanilla game.

you mistaken kitteh rewamp mod with cocanon mod. kitteh's didn't had npc killing content. it's those sick virgins from 4/8chan added the whole killing of npcs and lolis.
p.s. at least I didn't remember such content in kitteh's. but the problem might been with that cocanon begun adding content from revamp to his mod and that whole shit blown up in everybody's modders faces
p.s.s the only thing I remembered about some killings in kitteh it's a killing of imps, to get their skulls to decorate the camp wall, which will reduce the chance of the night imp gangbang scene.
p.s.s.s and what do you mean the mods weren't immediately obvious? both those mods I mentioned had their main menu page altered with disclaimers and mentions of authors of mods and all that. it was not their problem that the most people a lazy fucks who never read anything...

I don't believe inari Kinu has the "fuck you dad" mentality, but hime Kinu I believe has some of that based on what I've seen others describe it as.
I kinda want more interactions with the PC and Hitoshi. I saw the Takahiro/Hitoshi rice vignette and I was amazed the PC interacted with him for like one or two lines. You break my heart with Kinu, you should at least provide what most real life parents get as the consolation prize: becoming the dreaded in-laws. You know, showing up uninvited to Kinu's den, taking out the picture album that somehow contains Kinu's baby pictures and showing them to Hitoshi, and telling a story everyone has already heard for the 100th time.

Oh cool, so I can submit an incest character with a watersports scene? What, that isn't allowed? Well darn, it is almost like mods supported by the engine would be easy to distribute separately with the player being able to tailor their experience by adding fetishes Patreon or the team banned, or having a mod writer retain the rights to their character.
You did a pretty good job of mentioning what I just said, but you left out that the submission process transfers all rights of the content to Savin/(Fen?). Savin wants to protect his characters so much, but other people aren't allowed.
So, they don't want brutal murder of companions to exist in their game. Why would it be a problem for them to exist in mods?

I actually forgot that submission basically mean that your content is forfeited to them. some legal theft, what this is I think.

Savin (or one of the team members) said, as a reason for disliking mods, that "people would link the mod's content back to the original devs, whether that'd be bug reports or feedback."
Damn I didn't know about that, I just recently looked the revamp mod back up because I haven't checked on it in a long time and saw it was "finished". Talk about going over the top for a mod.
