If it's as dramatic of a shift as Brint to Brienne where the entire emotional compass of the character is completely changed?
This isn't exactly a revolutionary take for a porn game; people tend to dislike content they don't like and enjoy content they do like.
Change the entire point of abrasion and behold! Witness the contentment of the forums and the placidity of the audience.
The only situation most people draw their lines in the sand (on this forum at least) tend to be across the boundaries of the 3 letter acronym.

Everything else if you replace content they don't like with content they like (and in some cases make the options diametrically opposed as well as exclusive) you create happy campers.

Yeah Brint and Brienne aren't the same characters, personality wise, and it's kind've a shame, but I get that. I recall reading that Wsan regretted discovering/creating Brienne late and not at the start such that Brint and Brienne would have been two separate characters. Again, not 100% sure if I remembered correctly.

Siegfried and Kriemhild from Fate Grand Order. Both of them are hot characters in a relationship with each other, and both of them don't show romantic interest in the MC, strangely enough a lot of people are fine with that. There's also this one widow character waiting for her husband to be summoned (long story short: this game is essentially about summoning heroes from the past to help save humanity) and is completely devoted to him, which I find respectable. Then again there's a shit ton of fanmade hentai featuring those characters.

I kinda wish one character was written to honest-to-Goodness take the player for a ride since they bit the bait so easily/quickly.

Oh there is, Azyrran. Seemingly devoted to you if you choose to romance her, however, the writers thought it would be a good idea to ship her with Liaden. In lore, she's deceptive by omission and apparently the player character is the bad guy if we make it clear we don't like it at all. In reality, it was a really fucking stupid idea created on a whim that the writers will defend to the death despite how retarded it is. Luckily, she's pretty avoidable so I just ignore her every playthrough.

Most people playing this game are straight(ish) dudes. Obviously if I could turn a character with sexual content into a girl, I'm gonna do that because I'm not into guys. People would rather interact with content they're actually interested in. Why do you act like this is some negative character trait?

It makes me laugh at something like FemKeros because it's just like...he's not even fucking hiding he's doing it just to ensnare you more, and motherfuckers are STILL chomping at the bit to fall for it because he pretends to be a "mommy" for a bit. Like they've forgotten what a Trickster God even is.

You know not everybody gives a shit about lore, right? People can just enjoy the sex scene for what it is without quaking in there boots wondering if it perfectly aligns with their character. If they have a sex scene they're interested in and it doesn't completely fuck things up with other characters, people are usually gonna do it. Even regardless of that, have you ever thought that also might be why some people like it?

You could pretty easily, if you have patience of course, rewrite every guy into a girl. I rewrote every female companion into a guy, and it was fun. Best boy is obviously Brinty, but Ryan is also fun. Kiyoko was the toughest to do, but eh... Butt pregnancy is not that far out of left field.

It is actually reverse. I have never had problems if from the start I told her that I am not interessted in helping her with getting together with Liaden she did not had a problem. But the problem starts once you get her together with Liaden because just purifying the honey pool is somehow way more important then everything you did and because Liaden is a pure Lesbian, that has a problem with guys, you will not be allowed to have a piece in the action.
I did once a post before and quote myself now.

If you decide to not support her with Liaden she says she will get her own harem where you will always be her favourite that will always have a place with her. But yeah it is a joke. You be there for her in her greatest peril, help her get her home and her family back to normal and if you help her with Liaden because Cait's teaching influenced you, you will suddenly be only the second violin.
This one is the prime example of getting cucked because you are nice and helpful and actually a contradiction to her character.
Given the way how she behaves about loyalty you would expect that she would repay the kindness she recieved and the way she talks if you do not help her flirting is, that Liaden would have only been side flick that would not be worth making you unhappy.
But if you are so stupid to help her with Liaden, she is getting priorized despite wanting nothing to do with you that helped azzy way more instead of her.

I just personally found it weird to feel a need to turn the men into women in the first place. CoC2 is overflowing with females, there aren't as many males and MAYBE at this point the futas or "trans" intersex are passing the males. There's a point where it just feels like excess, but not the fun kind CoC1 played at. I've cared so little for CoC2 because the appeal to straight(ish) guys has made a sequel to a super raunchy game so...hilariously mundane. Not blaming you for it, because honestly, you choosing to play this game where you're at the mercy of railroading DMs that want you to suck and their DMPCs written characters to matter infinitely more than you is your choice. This makes me think of Degrees of Lewdity where you can literaly choose the sex of EVERY NPC before starting a new game so you, THE PLAYER may interact and enjoy all of the characters written and cattered to your prefferences, simple quality of life in a porn game dudes (Also agreed as a straight dude I wanna bone women.)

That aside, the choice mostly this choice does a few things

• Disables all Liaden content (no femc bone either)
• Changes Squeeze -> Friend (in reference to Liaden)
• Liaden deals with the gnolls with Azzy -> Liaden does it all by herself
• Dragon Azzy doesn't mention Liaden when she's talking about her harem of hivewives (Missing the point arentcha SKoW?)
