In CoC2, I'm trying to save the world so when people interrupt any time you want to rest before venturing out again it gets annoying. You can also just recruit her and then ditch her again, so she isn't -constantly- around no matter what you do. Cait is just there from the start, and doesn't stop being there lmao

It's weird that CoC1 and TiTS have far more outlandish fetishes in them, but also feature real relationship type beats. At least we have Brienne, Aileh, and the ones written by Alypia. Those relationships seem pretty genuine. Kiyoko gives me mixed feelings. Shame that some of the writers' idea of romance is orgies, voyeurism, pimping your lovers out to other people, etc.

I believe this lack of update suggests high player turnover (people quitting shortly after finding the game), as well as low player investment

Well I did some looking, there seem to be 3 active editors? One seems to be adding pages for the new content, the other did the recategorizing muschi26 mentioned before and random pages, the third seems to be weapons/items focused. Also they seem to be in the process a format change, at least from how different the manticore girl is compared to matiha. At least its getting updates I suppose, about damn time.

I don’t remember which page it was, and it’s not helping me find it that every page seems to have received an update yesterday. Most pages seem to have had no changes besides recategorizing in over one or two years, however.

Doubt it really suggests anything, I've seen lots of popular games with worse wikis.

Plus, it's locked with mod approval. As far as I know there's only 3 or 4 people active with permission to edit.

You know, reading this thread from time to time really makes me wonder how many issues the games has are problems of perspective and the intent of the player when they start it.
For some, lack of real romantic options and routes feels like a massive issue. At the same time, this is a game with tons of characters, many of which can be fucked, creating weird disconnect, because I imagine the intent is for you to just have fun fucking whoever you find attractive, not focusing on making a family with a girl from a random encounter who's design and idea meets every fetish of the player.
Then there are just those who are upset over a lack of freedom. Sometimes, it legit shit, like a quest not letting you to deny a character or disagree with something controversial. Sometimes, it's weird stuff like "why can't I make this character female/remove his cock/add cock to them" which, no offense, sometimes sounds like "Now draw write them buying wonder bread".
That's not to say the game is flawless, it has a lot of shit I don't like and stupid decisions I do not understand, but I do sometimes wonder how many complains are legitimate issues with the game that developers intent on making and how many of those are people bitching that CoC2 doesn't go into a very specific direction they want based on their dream version of a game like CoC. Keyword, is "like" because if all of their ideas and suggestions would be implemented, it would go incredibly far from what CoC is actually trying to be.
