Devs are against modifying the game in any way, so I doubt they'd even humor the request beyond a simple "No" or their usual sarcastic antics
Yeah I honestly forgot about their stance on editing the game even for personal use. Thanks for the heads up. "No" was the usual comment on such question.

unless ofc this somehow is against copy right, important to note this is only for me, I don't intend to copy paste the game with different pictures/names as a new game LOL (this will never pass anyway) maybe it can be done just by opening the game files or maybe I need a program to do this...
Gotta say, I'm not sure abiding copyright is the biggest concern on this site lol

And yeah the devs are super against modding for some silly reason or another (if I recall right it's one they kind of caused themselves too) so I doubt it's easy to modify much, past just images and the like.

You can try experimenting you the game files and see if it works, pictures are located in resources>app>resources>bitmaps>fulls

I'm guessing the images you want to replace need to have the same file name and image resolution for it to work good luck

thanks I will try it out.

important to note that there's nothing wrong with the game pictures, just that I don't like Cartoon sex. I can enjoy 3D stuff but anything too cartoonish is kinda like "and.. there goes my childhood XD". I also watch cartoons/anime so I can't mix sex with those, just doesn't work. which is why I was hoping to replace all images with 3D porn content, changing the names is just a bonus.

The new backers version 0.3.17 is out.

0.3.17 Patch Notes:
  • An ancient tower has surfaced in the northern reaches of the Glacial Rift. Take Brint (NOT BRIENNE) there to face a spooky challenge, and acquire a new set focused on tanking and ice magic!
    • Entropic Winds now leaves enemies Frigid instead of Staggered, and has lower cooldown.
    • Brienne will get another set later, we promise.
  • Two new Brienne sex scenes, one new Brint sex scene. ( )
  • You can go give the Minotaur Border Guards a blowjob. Has bonus text if you bring Cait, because of course it does. (Written by Fenoxo, the man, the legend!)
  • Tweaked change to Brint’s talk about Cait.
Balance feedback welcome to Brint’s new set. Definitely try it out OUTSIDE the Rift — surprisingly, Ice Knight cow doesn’t excel against people that live on a glacier.

It's weird to compare this game to the first because there´s way less preggo content, less transforming and corrupting and the persistent NPCs are just, ehh.

The game isn't awful or anything, but it's a shame that CoC still hasn't got many even approaching it in content

For the lack of transformations they said they'd cut out on those because there isn't enough interest and writing alternative scenes for player Naga, Centaur etc is too much of a chore.

Very much agree on the lack of proper corruption since all it does is make you mean things during dialogue or unlock very minor unimportant scenes. At least you get the cool Dark Knight title.

I also just mean transforming companions; there's literally only Ethyryn slightly changing and making Brint actually tolerable. Gone is the ability to change swathes of NPCs like in OG CoC.

This game in my opinion is a pile of crap compared to the original Champion of Corruption. So much text I feel like I'm reading a novel at very turn. Leveling is a pain in the butt as almost every other battle is a defeat as you try to earn 2000 XP just to get to level 3. No clue as to which I should start because every direction seems to be a defeat. Gear seems to be pointless though I do not know about later on. Honest playing this game easy drives me back to playing the original.

I've never really played the first game but from my experience Coc2 is a god tier game, imo the writing's pretty good aside from a few instances and I love the characters especially the ones that are fleshed out enough that feel real like Brint/Brienne. I like the direction its going so far and cant wait to see where everything goes. Also more Brienne content :weary:

Use save editor if it's too much pain leveling up.

And I thought this game was supposed to be a adult text game?

It is text and I have no problem with that but does every move have to be about 3 pages long? Also if I have to go into the files to adjust something, is it worth playing? C.o.C. did it right by having you fight low level enemies with higher ones coming out only after you reached a certain level in that area and it did not need to make it a 3 page description with every step you took. It was simpler and well put together. C.o.C.2 is not.

Are you going solo without companions? There is no way to lose that much even if you're just spamming the attack button unless you went into the south or eastern areas out of town instead of the north area. I like the walls of text on sex scenes, makes them more worthwhile I remember CoC1 had 2-3 paragraphs for many scenes making them lack a proper buildup. Also if you think the beginning so far has long walls of text then avoid the kitsune den it has like 50k words of just lore/character descriptions.

And fuck CoC1's bullshit system where I'm forced to fight lvl 20 goblins/imps all the time because they scale with you

I really do love this game, but at the same time, I understand what Thisisfunny means about the walls of text. It's fine when I first boot up the game and play for a few minutes, but eventually I just get so fatigued with needing to read through all of it that I find myself skimming it and missing some things.

I don't necessarily mean to start skimming it, but it feels like they throw in a lot of unnecessary prose at times that doesn't do much to help the scene. The combat itself is honestly more tedious than anything, but I feel that way about all three of Fen's games. I find it shallow and repetitive and it really shows its flaws and lack of nuance when you've fought the same group of highway robbing harpies 37 fucking times and you can click your way through the fight by muscle memory alone.

A lot of the scenes are really strong, and the writing quality is super solid throughout the entire game regardless of where you find yourself. Sometimes it feels like a little much though. I don't need 29 paragraphs to suck a centaur's dick, y'know?

Love the game since it tackles that niche content that's hard to properly satisfy elsewhere, but personally, I'd prefer short bursts of high quality events and scenes, instead of long high quality scenes.

Wall of text can easily be avoided if you avoid a certain writer's content in the game. Other then wall of text during sex scenes, the rest can be justified as means to explain the lore of the game's world or background story of the character. Some character lets you access these wall of text at your own leisure so you don't feel forced to read it. While some, again if you can tell a certain writer made it necessary to read it all before you start banging the NPC.

Overall it's an improvement to bring the game more alive than it's predecessor CoC and with improved writing over the years. There are good and bad in these wall of text but I understand being shoved tons of alphabet when your brain is trying to focus to jack off is kinda frustrating. Although some people actually find it really erotic. Who knows maybe there is a reading fetish out there.

Dumb jokes aside, if you feel reading more than 2 pages is a chore, I recommend skipping that writer's content. But I can tell you that Wsan's content made me wish for more pages as his writing is the only thing that kept me interested in this game.

Yeah I've got absolutely no issues with reading, but there's a line still, particularly in sex scenes. There's a lot of room between a couple paragraphs and a full 5 page essay, let alone some of the ridiculously bloated stuff theobserver has written. At some point you're just including text for the sake of text, knowing when you can be more concise is just as important a skill in good writing as anything else in my opinion.

That's true for novels and really any form of writing, but particularly so for RPGs that are at least supposed to be trying to be player driven. Huge long walls of uninterrupted text are completely author driven and you don't really have any agency in what's going on in the scene.

It's just kind of silly in sex scenes, because people generally aren't focusing terribly well at that point to start with. Drag it out too long and people just aren't reading your whole thing either way, whether they skip to the end in game or just never get there.

One good thing is that whenever my roommate finds me playing this, he's all like, "Yo, playing that literacy game again? You smart man":p
