Since I'm playing CoC2 again to check out all new content (last time I played, it was like, 0.2), the "tone" of 80% of those npcs who live in the Den of Foxes is something that's bothering me a LOT. I can feel the smugness dripping.

My character literally went thru the whole fucking den on a gauntlet and took everyone down on combat, but now the same character gets verbally abused by all those assholes npcs without even any chance of rebuttal?

I wished the game just let me kill them or something.

For me, the only non-grating npcs were the Sylvie rip-off (Rindo) and the oh-so-lower-class-peasant merchant (Kohaku).

Also, that "great-great-grandmother" thing is just extremely stupid .

Honestly i only interact with the foxes cuz i enjoy fucking Kiyoko silly (as well as the merchant Kohaku) but i don't care much for everyone else...ok Rindo is nice, but everyone else i tend to just ignore.

Heh. On my playthrough I freed Kiyoko almost immediately after Kinu was born, so she defaulted into her 'abandoned' persona because we hadn't had enough playdates or something. Bitch would you rather I'd left you in there for years just so we could play fetch?

Out of morbid curiosity I skimmed through their forums once and saw him defending his cod-Japanese kitsune because (I paraphrase from memory) "the Japanese are arrogant, insular racists anyway, so it makes sense that the kitsune would be as well." Real charmer, that lad.

I would like Rindo a lot more if the actual smut side of things was written better. Who mentions the smell of ashes in a sex scene about a burn victim? Who thinks reading about how someones hair smells like burned wood and dirt is sexy?
Let alone the generic overly flowery stuff in the rest of that scene, or the fact that she's crying half the time.

It's all just so over the top without thinking about what it really conveys, imo. The art is also just not really that disfigured looking at all, which doesn't help.

You need to keep in mind that it is literally impossible for you to understand him without an IQ within 15 points of his (preferably lower).

Legitimate transformation into taur bodies isn't possible for the player in CoC2, unfortunately. The various beastfolk transformatives still restrict you to biped legs.
I vaguely recall the reason was they didn't want to add scene variants for the vastly different body shape? Or did they claim that not enough players became taurs to make it worthwhile? Something along those lines, CMIIW please.

Completly understandable, in TiTS every time i saw a scene that required a certain body type i passed it as it was not worth the effort.

Btw, nothing gets this thread going like shitting on The Observer and the Fox Den, i love to see that passion every time someone plays this part of the game.

Very few have proper Taur scenes, most just ignore it entirely and end up making no sense because of it. The positions they end up describing would only work if you were fucking a naga or something.

Oh, how peculiar. I thought there would be better support considering half-leithan is a valid starting race, and they begin the game as a taur.

And now that I think about it, the game only grays out buttons you lack the bodyparts/size specs to access, so it's quite telling that I don't even recall grayed out "taur-only" buttons in, well, the vast majority of encounters.

I think a few just have the same scenes but the play out differently, though there might be a couple taur-specific options too? Or it just changes the name from a generic "do sex" to "mount them" or something similar.

Limited either way, makes sense they just cut them from coc2 when barely any authors wrote scenes for it.

Off the top of my head peeps with taur-specific scenes or includes some taur variations in TiTs: Edan on Tarkus, Amber on Mhenga and on your ship as a follower, Ellie on New Texas, Brandy on New Texas, Haley on New Texas, Dane on Zheng Shi, Jumpers on Zheng Shi, Urbolg on Zheng Shi, Forgehound on Zheng Shi, Rat Raiders on Zheng Shi, War Lion on Uveto, Milodan Males on Uveto, a few of the Extrameet dates, Sylvie on Canadia, Ushamee Neykkar on the Kashima Incident distress call and I think back on Canadia, Chaurmine who you first meet on Tarkus, Kelly on Tarkus, and that's all I can think of at the moment.

It sounds like a lot but I've done some female taur runs and you do either get blocked out of quite a few sex scenes altogether or the scenes don't take your taur status into account. Still I think it's worth to do a run like that, the saving grace being that it'll be a little quicker to get through because you can't fuck everyone. I did try a Naga run once and didn't finish because that had even less Naga-specific or Naga variation scenes.

Getting back on track with Coc2, yeah I understand why they're sticking to bipedal bodies for reasons stated by others. Still kinda sucks tho, I like having a reason to replay these games besides just restarting to see a new scene or dungeon that was added.

Gotta say one thing i openly dislike in the game is how certain characters aren't well...sexable be the right word? i mean, sometimes it feels like they forget this is a PORN game first and foremost, like sure we shit on the Kitsunes personality alot but look-wise they ain't half bad, Komari is pretty much a busty shortstack Gilf, i WOULD bang that IF I COULD, but nope, no sexable option saddly, even more outrageous is Nelia the resident shortstack goblin MILF of Hawkethorne (whom i swear has the art-style to be fucked silly and impregnated to the brim from DAY 1 and has been ignored since well...ever), what about Gweyr? you telling me i cannot do the nasty with a THICC, Swole Amazonian Wolf MILF cuz "hurr durr Garth's wise" n shit but he sure as all hell can suddenly have a half-orc (god that's stupid) daughter npc?

Just...i know they got a hard-on for writting and some scenes do have raw talent in them (you gotta look for it carefully tho) but the fact i tend to ask "Build Optimization" questions most often than not (signaling i tend to enjoy more playing the game for rpg combat than for actual smut) i think is very telling of how the game's priorities as a PORN-GAME are...not entirely there? idk man, maybe a pet peeve but from other PORN GAMES i've played the devs don't let the writting get in the way of the smut but actually TRY TO INCORPORATE BOTH so the player doesn't feel well...cock-blocked by the writting?

Also Vari and her daughters are some hot piece of ass, for once i've got no complains there!

I think Fen and Co have shifted more towards wanting to make a regular RPG with Sexual elements, instead of a Porn Game with RPG elements. Explaining why they have regular NPC's with quests and that aren't sexable, however if that's the case, why make a portrait of the character and a detailed description? Because that'd probably make your customerbase want to fuck the character. And since the Writer's dont want to write Smut for those characters they end up being cockblocked. At least that's my two cents.
