I might dig it up to screenshot it, but I'm pretty sure the last time I saw Savin make a long post on the way they tally NPCs, they had really stupid metrics as well. Like, for example, if an NPC has variations (like getting a dick), they won't count that NPC towards the futa tally.

Oh I would bet good money that if we ever do get to fight him it'll probably be next to impossible to win and if you do somehow win you'll probably get some bs scene where even though you won you and your party will be on the ground beaten and he'll probably say something generic like "not bad, but not good enough"

Good point because why would you set up a rival or strong character and let the player be allowed to beat them?
Tobs and his retarded self insert is probably the worst example.
I have never seen an author create a character that actively hates you and disrespects you, but you are never allowed to do anything about it at any point.
By the way, if anyone remembers the character sorter/ranker from a few years back, there's a new one!

Well, on a more positive note, I poked around the discord a bit and there's some good news, and some bad news.
The good news:
- The corrupted lupine dungeon is being coded
- Aury seems to be writing a harpy you can knock up, and isn't a psychopath dom like Komari
- Bubble is still dead
The bad news:
- Wsan is still open to doing futa Alante (because of course he is)
- Futa/Dickgirls is a very close second in the patreon preference poll
- The aforementioned harpy isn't coming until Tychris
The good news:

I personally like futa, femdom, and futadom but I'm so fucking sick of them in this game.
Every single futa character is the exact same fucking character.
They are all dominant which isn't the problem they are all dominant in the exact same way which makes everything so fucking boring.
I no longer have the patience to sort a hundred ugly dudes and futas I don’t care about just to get my ranking for the top ten or twenty good characters.
With every choice I’m like:
“Wow, that girl looks hot. I’m sure it’s actually a trap or futa.”

Oh dude it would take you all day to do that poll thing. I was doing it for shits and giggles had went through like 237 options and it said I was only 23% done
You forgot one thing, Bubs was planning to make content for corrupt Leofric and he summoned his inner Tobs for it.
If you defeat Leofric and corrupt him he'll get some bullshit eleventh hour super power from his patron Goddess. He'll become more powerful but still corrupted, then he'll corrupt the male mercenaries to turn on the female ones and become an even more powerful enemy afterwards.
