Edit: Was poking around in the game, and they undid Atugia's one time scene reward. You can hang out with her in the evenings, taking her to the two scenes from the end of her quest. Wonder if they'll add more scenes eventually.

Yes. It'd also take surprisingly LESS EFFORT to make the protagonist not a sex god either. Though simultaneously, you don't really have the ability to affect the outcome except for win/lose and occasionally a third option of 'maybe we should do this instead'. I mean that's already more than what you bargain for in a multi tens of thousands of dollars patreon dedicated to futa smut writers, but god damn man. Would it kill them to actually try writing the rest of it within a year?

Kinu is almost direct analogue of Helspawn.
But it was nowhere near as prominent in CoC, because Savin was just one of many conrtibutors. Instead of being the project lead.
Kinu is like those Princess Maker games, in that the player's choices determine how she turns out.
And there's no parent/child incest content because of Patreon rules. Don't complain to the devs for folowing the guidelines of the site they use to finance themselves with.

To be fair, Savin "soft-abandons" the characters - makes vague promises, doesn't fulfill them. I'd rather prefer that than Fenoxo and TiTs, where they make concrete progress, write up a 100+ page document, and then throw the entire thing away like they did with Sephora/Roo/theBunny/theNurse/theTemple/etc.Along with abandoning and never finishing the characters we was writing.
Not to say Savin's a good guy or anything, of course. Just with the way TiTs is such a letdown dumpsterfire nowadays, I've been exclusively playing CoC because at least it won't get my hopes up just to break em

Savin wrote a father/daughter incest NPC in CoC1. The daughter of Helia, which he gave the punny codename "Helspawn".
People asked him to finish that character. As most of it was WIP. This infuriated him because he hates being told to finish what he started.
Which is where Kinu comes into play.
Kinu was explicitly designed as "a spite project and a salt mine" (dev words, not mine). Designed to troll helspawn fans.
In addition to explicit dev quotes. we also have the design document which again explicitly says the character exists to troll helspawn fans. And written fully with this singular purpose 2 years before the first release of coc2 according to her writer.
It has absolutely nothing to do with Patreon rules.
And aside from trolling helspawn fans, it also pissed off many people who didn't want incest, too.
There was plenty of splash damage there.
You are lured into caring about a character as your virtual child. Then it forces a timeskip on you. During the timeskip her mom abuses her, they both turn racist against you, your daughter hates you and looks down on you, and they even give her an arranged marriage, which she is all for and is angry at you for interfering in.

Which means they succeeded too well, since their goal is explicitly trolling. They just trolled way more people then they initially intended.

Well.... to be honest. Despite my salt laced contributions to the overall shit fest that is this glorious thread. Without a lick of regret as I found it fun. With all the faults you can find with the guy and his writing. And as weird as it is for him to be mad that long. To then write a whole ass story with the intention that he had. That shit was a premium salt mine. I personally never did the quest. So it really wasn't my shit to fling. But having gone through a fair bit of this thread. I can't lie and say that he didn't get some mileage out of it.
