It seems this version is bagged on moment you help the farmer on Valley. In the end of talking scene battle start again and again, restarting the stage.
Yeah, someone mentioned it already. There's a hotfix but it wasn't posted here.

Weirdly enough, I didn't have a problem with the farmer so either I've done something wrong or it's bypassed on Story difficulty.

Weird I'm playing on Story Difficulty and I get the bug, what else did you do on your run?

Played abit of the Charmer with an Old Save I had with everything cleared...damn, they even more OP now!

-Bolstering Dance got better now for them.
-Thunder Chord & Discord just outright DELETE anything Immune to teasing damage.
-War Song, one of the most USELESS Encounter moves of old NOW scales properly and well...this thing is OP, removes frightened from the entire party, hits like a truck and leaves frightened everyone who survived it, just...damn, talk about a glow up! (Also Psychic Damage, NOT Tease Damage so it got great to answer enemies immune to teasing!)

Never thought I could beat the game with a character using nothing but 100% skills from it's own class but here I am! breezing through the oldsave using Bolstering Dance, Allure, Dischord, War Song & Inspiration lol.

I think that's about it. I sorta burnt through it too so I can't quite recall bit by bit. Sorry for being unable to help out there.

So many tough decisions for a level 5 dungeon.

So what actually happens with each choice? Realistically, I'd imprison and allow "congigal" visits from the Plants. What happens in the game, though? Is Recruit closer to what I'm after? Doesn't seem realistic after the treason and tyrany you witness with them.

Ima be honest I have no idea but seeing how this game creators operate your outcomes will most likely be:

1) Some content, which will actually be expanded upon if the creator cares

2) no content right now but its coming later, we promise (TM)

3) no content

Recruit makes them respect you more, imprissioning makes them like you less. Or something like that. Jstar the Author mentioned something like that.
I undserstand the slander, we have some real stinky examples like corrupted centaurs and corrupted hive, BUT Jstar is a busy bee. He is already working on post cave stuff. Even has finished some of it. It just needs to be coded in.
We can slander some projects here but the cave shouldn´t be one of them.

I mean, they've been doing it for years now with almost any content that has ""significant"" choices in it. Like alternate route for not building Cait's whore temple.
Or how Wayfort was supposed to be specifically for all the corruption related events and corrupted NPCS, meanwhile pure route would have had another homebase.
Or how they started REMOVING the content. By making Dog Days quest mandatory for accessing the Alraune, deleting all Ryn interactions with Hethia.

Like I said, I am not saying, it hasn´t happened before. Didn´t even know about the last two. But I believe it with the track record.

What I am saying is, that post cave stuff will come. It´s already in the works. Someone even already commissioned
more of the imp you meet in the cave (Merydex?). So there is no reason it won´t be happening.

It won´t be coming tomorow or next week. But it will happen. The only way, they could screw this up is by discarding months of already written stuff, just for the kick of it.

Jstar worked his butt off, the past year for this dungeon to happen. And I will keep glazing this man till I die,
because it will give us so many great characters: Olivia, Merydex, Corrupted Drifa(on of the few really corruptable npc with content).

The core concept of being able to transform into whatever abomination you want, and then keep transforming again and again without limits.
That was the reason I got into CoC, and I imagine it was the same for many others.

Especially when you compare CoC to other "transformation" games, where most of the times the transformation begins and ends with a single instance of male protagonist turning into a female.
One of my faves in COC1 was turning into a Minotaur and just wrecking everything. But the best was just pure human and wrecking shit.

I hope this gets completed to the authors vision too and wish this doesn't end up as another william situation with whatever counts as management fucking this up.
I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. This project has been going through motions like these for a while. Seems the only person who manages to release their stuff in this game is TObs and his shitsune slop.

"This is the end of Balak’s great work, and now he can peacefully return to the writing mines with the rest of us. Big round of applause for the guy."

Oh, you truly spoil us Savin. If you keep up such expediency in the writing department, we might actually see the end of the Khor'minos plot by 2035!
  • AS FOR ACTUAL CONTENT: Cait and Katya have a 3way together with some high-impact kitty-on-kitty-on-PC squish. (By Aury)
Another Cait scene? I guess I shouldn't bellyache too much, at least this patch doesn't have Skow slop.

I have some bad news for you... There is already precedent of them fucking over writers on purpose. This happened to William to be specific. We never got Einin because Savin did a Savin, and discarded an almost written character.
With giving this as explanation: "deadline for adding party members is over, there will be no more party members in CoC2"
Only to turn Viviane into a party member several months after the supposed ""deadline"" was over.

I will say, I did see some stuff he wrote and it was pleasant enough, probably one of the few folks I can safely say I have zero problems with. Good on him.
