Savin and Co can´t wait to be done with Coc2. They rather make cuts to content thant to keep writing for this game.
Conclusion to some charakters? Dropped in favor to finish main story.
Corrupted Khorminos? Also dropped.
Post Corrupted hive stuff? Will probably also get cut because nobody wants to write it.
We are lucky if we get corrupt centaur village.

They only thing they really look forward to is writing for their pet ocs. Something like Evelyn and Kalysea for Wsan, Hana for Savin and Kinu for Tobs. (But I haven´t heard from Tobs in a while So idk).

The only things I am still looking forward to are stuff from community writers like Jstar or B. Aury also exists but he is a Tobs lite who rather shit posts and mines salt than acctually write erotic content.

Both statements can be true at the same time, how else would you explain the glacial pace with which the story advances? Not to mention that when it comes to milking Patreon porn game money, the tried and true method isn't adding more side stuff to avoid ending the game, no, it's all about putting in the minimal amount of effort required to keep the piggies on the payroll while you get to live the easy life. There are far more egregious examples than CoC2 out there of this, but CoC2 is still a very lethargic project, considering how little talent really goes into its making. If they really cared about releasing final products, they could've pumped out 2-3 game with the breadth of CoC2 in the time span they've been working on this one, but why do that when you're getting steady paychecks in the mail?

Like zwere said, both this and them wanting to milk the game until the heat death of the universe can be true at once, the glacial almost nonexistent pace of the updates during the last 3 or so years, coupled with how little actual stuff gets added in most patches/updates, is proof enough.

If I had to guess, a new project probably would spawn once either this or their other one gets dropped/completed.

Well using Savin's own criteria that would mean that CoC2 is "Feature Complete" just like Sophora was after Will's "retirement" got announced. How he was ever left in a position of management is beyond me, at least Adjatha knows better than to project naked contempt in the comments, unless I missed it. Though seeing as all of these writers departures snuck up on me, Adjatha could very well be advocating for the death of everyone who has ever touched this game on their discord and I'd never know.

I'll be honest Jstar is my only hope at this point, just inject everything related to that cave into my veins, lock him up and force him to churn out content for it forever so I have something to look forward to again, god damn.
