I'm not surprised that people over at the Fenoxo Forums have such a low opinion of this place. This game is not good. It is not good because it doesn't adhere to professional standards, there's a clear lack of a unified vision, the writers chosen are often bad to mediocre and worst of all, they keep trying to make it into a fucking mechanics and story focused games when no-one gives the tiniest shit about their meh story on the whole or gods forbid their trash tier combat mechanics.

I wanna read porn scenarios with occasional art where I can make an extremely customizable character. What I don't want are dumb fictional scenarios where NPCs diddle each other or they tell my character how they feel about shit or where I have to fucking think about gameplay instead of just spamming whitefire or arouse

And yet the reviews for this thread give the game 4.5/5 Stars. The discontent between the extreme negativity inside the thread and the praise in the reviews is not the only thing I find hilarious about this place.

Over on Fen's forums you can't be that vocal about your criticism without getting bombarded by people who can't afford for this game to be talked badly about, and it feels much more singular.

And here you can't be vocal about praising this game or its writers without having abuse hurled at and getting multiple insanely angry people to jump down your throat. And no, the amount of misinformation that is filling this place is not something that can be just handwaved. It goes to the core of the issues this thread has, and why the folks over at Fenoxo correctly view it as a joke. So far I've seen multiple page ragefests over Savin hating preggo content [FALSE], Kiyoko NTR [FALSE] and now poor grieving Garth not being told the truth about his wife still being alive [FALSE]. I'm sure I could find even more if I'd read this thread from the start to the finish.

I've never gotten the feeling that the Fenoxo forums are a "cult" or a "cirklejerk", from the time I spent over there. Quite the opposite, there's plenty of people there voicing criticism about things they don't like about the game, and there are even stickied threads where people are encouraged to criticize the game. These threads are among some of the most active ones too. Now, of course, if someone starts spreading misinformation and outright lies about the content in the game, or hurls insults at the devs, he'll naturally get kicked out. It absolutely wouldn't surprise me if the majority of people in here complaining about oppressive mods were themselves at fault for being banned due to their inability to discuss the game in a polite and civilized manner.

The devs deserve praise when good content is added, and criticism when they fuck up. So far I've seen the Fenoxo forums to be less of a "cirklejerk" as opposed to the "hatejerk" at F95zone. Destroyerofassholes, I really hope you'd give the place a chance and post your view on the game in there. If you get banned for it, I'll admit I was wrong and you were correct in your assesment of that place. In the case you were already banned there previously, I would like to see the entire conversation that lead to it, so that I can make my own opinion on wheter it was warranted or not..

Well Garth will never be sexable (no threesome), and NTR in this game is kinda lopsided with your character rarely if ever being able to be the aggressor. Plus Garret got squeamish when you just considered doing his ancestor that happened to look like his mom, the actual thing would probably be beyond awkward for the family.
Hope people who are sexually attracted to wolf Gilf have a save for the one-off Magna scene( or know console commands) because that's all the writers are giving you to fill that void.
Be funny if they added an event with a corrupt character trying to do this. Corruption means hedonism so your character wouldn't even care about her valid reasons and still attempt an affair. But alas, they railroaded your character into being such a goody-twoshoes that even a demonic character would be disgusted at even ascertaining the thought. I'd even settle for the option being a bad-end.

Unpopular opinion but I've kind of enjoyed the Gweyr quest storyline. It's one of the few that had buildup through multiple quests and it's kind of cool to be getting it to go full circle so to speak.

? As long as you aren't an aggressive asshole about it and hop in calling everyone misinformation-spreading, hatejerking, trolls, people who praise the game are not hurled with abuse. Tobs is generally disliked here but there have been numerous times where MonteNetro has stood up for some of his writing, and he hasn't fled the thred in tears yet lol. People mostly like Wsan but just a few pages ago destroyerofassholes said Wsan is pretty repetitive and I didn't kick his teeth in, in my reply. F95 is largely for people who want to vent about the game, because the main forums seem to love most aspects of it and it's not generally a place where you can complain. Though I have seen an increase in people expressing dislike for Kitsune stuff and Kinu, and not immediately having Tobs jump in so there's that.

What I dislike about you, is that your arguments are disingenuous.

Savin hating preggo content: This has been brought up numerous times in the past and was debunked - by you - and Fikedever I believe, who gave us some screenshots and links.
Kiyoko NTR: If I'm thinking of the right thing, this stemmed from someone linking a screenshot of Bubblelord's past plans for a scene involving Kiyoko and Takahiro? The idea was shut down and will not be in the game. Several people didn't pay attention and were exclaiming about it. They were corrected.
Garth not being told about Gweyr: This was immediately corrected by someone at the same time you jumped in yelling at everyone again.

I once thought that Takahiro's side events where he fucks a bunch of people and the pc can watch or not, were written by Tobs and so I was complaining about them - and Tobs. I was immediately corrected and told that Bubblelord was the writer for that.

Misinformation may make it here but it is usually corrected - with proof like screenshots and links. But the way you present it is like we all spread it happily and no one ever corrects it, so we're just a cesspit of misinformed fools.

Anyway, the mods will probably purge the chat again but I just wanted to get my 2 cents in.

I've only ever lurked (and never posted on) Fenoxo's forums simply because I felt the forum culture to be oppressive. What you found a place for healthy discussion I felt was a toxic chamber. I'll admit I haven't been there for a year or so but there's still screenshots of oddball retorts from authors of all people here. That should never happen, period. I've always had the feeling that people just can't actually say what they want to say because there's a limit to what can be vocalized in the Fen forums, always walking on eggshells. At the very least, I had that feeling. I can't say for other Fen posters.

I'm mostly talking about stuff like this (it's Tobs, yeah it's trite at this point but still).

By the same token, to you this place seems like absolute ass and I can get that, especially since you got at least 1 not-so-very-nice message in the last page. But at the same time I don't think it's as bad as you make it out to be, I must agree with the other comment that you're not being completely honest. It is true that misinformation is rife within this thread, but people generally tend to step in when it's being propagated. Like with the "kiyoko ntr" stuff. Some people just didn't read what was being argued and just started writing random stuff. I've seen it many times where people confuse a writer and be corrected.


And I just plain don't think people get outright chased out for liking something here. At the very least I haven't felt any sort of pressure for "should I post?" here unlike what I felt with Fen's forums. Most people are pretty vocal here about their praise of Kas and Brint/enne and stuff. CoC 2 does a lot of things wrong but if it were unplayable crap, nobody would remain here for years playing and talking about this game. People are most certainly not as vocal about the good content than they are with the "bad" content(especially in a content drought like this), but then again people (and I) seem to find it funnier to shit on the bad then praise the good. In a situation where there's nothing new to talk about, people go back to past content to talk, and it tends to default to the most polarizing topics. I can see why that would make this place look like it's constant bickering. It's also why the game has such high ratings on this thread despite the mood.

At the end of the day, you do you my dude. I don't think we can change each other's opinions about either of these places and that's a'ight.

There's plenty of examples of the writers reacting in completely ridiculous ways to criticism, unjust or not, and the vast majority of the dislike here is focused at tobs and bubblelord, who are the ones most responsible for that sort of behaviour. Sometimes savin too, though that's 99% limited to the NTR cat.

Kallisto already covered the rest pretty well, but people absolutely do react better when good content is added.

You could try switching the file image names so the non dick version of her art pops up instead, but that wont change scenes there will always be mentions of her dick during sex.

The game is worse in almost every category than 1, featuring inferior NPCs, content and a baffling and stupid focus on ~story and gameplay~ rather than fucking pornography and manages to deliver everything in small, shitty sizes.

Even Mayternity had some huge stinkers like the whore temple, while you still can't do shit with the fort, fuck the goblin in the village, impreg the sheep or anyone in the village other than the wolf. It's pathetic.

Reading your post made me realize something, our hubworld sucks. Savin got inspired by DnD which is why stuff like initiative and skills scaling off of non offensive stats exist. Heck the game even starts with you in a tavern. And usually in longer campaigns you want a hubworld.

The problem is none of the NPC's that aren't in the tavern are 3-dimensional. Ogrish is useless and barely memorable, Kohaku does his job better because of her rotating stock, TF's suck so Ivris gets useless very quickly. Nelia stuff is neat in the early game but falls of real quick once you get unique items. And Leorah was a step in the right direction with her being sexable and giving you a quest but they forgot about her kitty butt real fast (archery didn't even get an ultimate skill). Even with additions like Clementine and Sugo Hawkethorne is still as wide as an ocean but as shallow as a pool.

It's real bad when the village that calls you a barbarian and tried to kill you is more enjoyable just because I at least have a reason to interact with their denizens and learn more about them.
