Razorcup Nectar will raise a character a level, but careful how you use it, it's a rare item usually found in quests and even after you unlock the fox tree, you can't count on when Kohanku will a rare item or what it will be at all.

Remember when that whole new area was added and people were complaining cuz it was too hard/enemies were too powerfull for a mere level 5 party? yeah that, one time was enough for me imma wait till level 7 is added before trying to finish Gweyr's Quest or go to Khor Miros.

His explanation is the same one for why majority of shopkeepers in the main town and other characters can't be romanced. That being he dosen't want everything to be a fuckfest and not make the player the center of everything where he gets to romance all characters in the game.

If he didn't want the game to be a fuckfest then he picked a wrong game to write for,hell the more we go the more it feels like we went from what the game was supposed to a cringe OC fanfic.

There were people complaining that game is too hard? Conversely, I had an impression its too easy. I'd like it to be little more challenging in RPG department, so that it would make sense to manually control your teammates for maximum efficiency, but alas, i'm playing on dark difficulty and only fight that gave me a challenge was fighting elementals for temple foundation quest. If you pick easier difficulties, i don't think this game would present challenge to anyone, unless they are solo running, like Raf-Raf tries to.

I only keep her around because the game is very determined to make me keep her around. Unless I go main as a healer, there is literally no incentive to pick anyone else but Cait for the healer role because, as several people have mentioned already, she has the best healing abilities hands down. Those abilities can be enhanced even further with certain costume sets too so do you even need the other healer characters anyway?

Also, and I think I mentioned this already, you go through so many hoops for her and your only reward is setting up a branch of a definitely-not-a-brothel that is supposed to be in service and worship of their femboy god whom somehow interprets his role as the God of Love and Passion as fucking anything and anyone since clearly sex is the ultimate medium for expressing those things.

Of course, we can go on and on about Cait and join the club that's been here presumably since Cait was naught but a brainfart but that's just the tip of the iceberg that is CoC 2. Oh, and you don't even get any special treatment for meeting the God they worship. Whatever discount you get is still the same one applied for being 'nice' enough to build the temple.

And Cait still won't let you knock her up or do her ass, which annoys me despite the fact that I'm not into buttstuff.

Keep in mind it's a porn game. For what it is I get why people think it's too hard.

If I want to give a shit about builds and planning out my gameplay I'll go play kingmaker or wotr on higher difficulties, or do a DAO solo without mage bs. It's just not what most people want out of this genre, so if they feel like they're blocked off by a fight they're more likely to just quit and go elsewhere instead of improving builds or strats or even bothering to learn the systems rules (which aren't explained terribly well, tbf).

I personally agree it's not a terribly difficult game, but I'm also not at all interested in the gameplay so just put that shit on story mode.

Even that supposed discount is bullshit,they keep saying how the money is for caring for the child from birth to adulthood,but if that's the case that wouldn;t make sense because they would be left paying the majority of it from pocket and as newly established temple they don't have much to work with,that makes me conclude that even with the discount they make a profit.

Didn't know there was a sequel in the making, but its going to have to wait at least a couple months or a year before you get anything,first one was rushed and TiTS just didn't feel as good, maybe because they are getting too ambitious, but hopefully this one is going to be as good as the first CoC.

Coc2 lacks both enough VOLUNTARY humor and absurdity for it to work. (There are a lot of ass-pulls in the plot, though)

Pretty sure Bubble is the one with the worst OC issue, I mean he's the guy that put the drunk fuck in the middle of the kitsune place, and he's the one with the super speshul OP OC in the merc captain that will eventually be a plot much later down the line.
I can't think of any characters that fit super OC territory for Tobs, other than maybe Kinu (which is still the PC's kid), if only because he has so many characters.

iirc the issue most people have with Tobs isn't about his characters but more towards his writing style, which often takes up massive walls of text and waffle around. Personally don't have an issue with it tho.

I think the problem about Tobs are also the choices he put in his events, when you agree with his written situation, you're mostly a good guy, but if you disagree, it's written as if he's trying to make the reader feel bad, even if that's not a bad choice by itself (and most of the choices doesn't matter in the end either)
