Well, I have some good news and some real bad news. First off, there has been maybe 1 - 2 mods for coc2 so far. Tons of people over there, and all doing nothing. So far as I can tell, all we have for KINU mod, is a couple of pages of written up drafts, and that is it. I believe we have a better chance, of Savin becoming an Amazing writer, and making coc2 into the game we all hoped we would get before KINU mod is even done. Not that it couldn't happen, but what was the point of getting everyone together and etc, if nothing is going to happen on the mods? I could be wrong. I wasn't there when coc1 mod was started.
So prepare yourselves for disappointment, if you were counting on coc2 mod to fix all the crap. Either they are scared of getting into trouble over copyright, which shouldn't be a problem since all they had to do is go the Mod or Parody route. Never know. Until the fire is lit under their asses, it is pretty much dead before it began, except the 2 mods that have been done.

Noone should ever have really been counting on the mod tbh. It's a ton of work work for unpaid labor, and the chances that we were going to get someone willing to do said work AND were actually competent at writing and coding are always slim to none.
Add to that the fact that the game is still in dev and receiving new content, which means a mod would be shackled to an older version without a ton more work.
The CoC mod scene both didn't take off until after the game was basically abandoned and it had the advantage of being on the official forums so there was a lot more visibility and interest.
Even the mod that was posted here just deleted some stuff they disnt like, and added a character that hasn't been coded yet early. No actual original content.
Tl;Dr there's probably never going to be any mods worth looking at for this game. Talk is cheap.

Ah I see. Honestly I forgot how she acted because I never take her anywhere, she's pretty forgettable, and she doesn't have interactions at the tavern unless she's in your party for whatever reason. I think she had potential but devs really don't like their characters to be anything other than happy and horny 24/7 it feels like. Ryn seems to be the only exception.I think there was a whole discussion about it back when she came out, so if you want the long story it's like a hundred pages back, but basically how domineering she is and how utterly pussywhipped the Champion gets in their interactions.
Of course there's also that originally she just fucked the hellhound right after her rebirth no questions asked, but B has since tweaked that to at least have her ask if she can cuck you. Still. Hellhound > birdcait, so either way it's the storage with her

I don't see why she can't have a vag in addition to her dick. Arona initially only had a vag and now has both, why can't Ryn? Even with the whole "Arona was blessed by Lumia" shit wouldn't work because the elves also worship Lumia now and she's way more deserving of a blessing than some random orc bitch.
The whole third gender thing for elves seems to exist just for this situation with Ryn to exist which is... pretty contrived to say the least. Not really sure why this has to be a problem in the first place, honestly. Why restrict a companion's ability to have sex when the whole game is about having sex? It just seems really pointless, especially when they've had plans to get rid of the cage for a while now.
Also bit off-topic but why the hell does the last city of an entire race have basically no content, especially when compared to the orc camp?
Cages are a fetish for plenty of people too. It appeals to a certain crowd and adds some anticipation for when it comes off and motivation to find Alyssa.
I think it worked pretty well.

While I love modding scenes for games... they are often a very double edged sword. Or, rather, a double edged sword that is very dull. Savin's Team has been doing CoC2 for years. They know how to operate a game, even if it doesn't always satisfy every player. But they are still quite experienced at their job.
Compare this to modding teams. While sometimes they achieve greatness... a lot of the times, they are either in an instant dev hell or created by people who have NO CLUE how to actually work in a team or get anything done. And even when they are done, the result isn't always good.
Look at Fallout Frontier for example. Everyone praised pre-release for being "true Fallout, made by real fans", especially after Fallout 76 starting a huge wave of Bethesda hate, especially when it comes to Fallout 3 and 4. Then the mod actually gets released and it's awful. Writing is terrible and worse than even the weakest Bethesda content. Devs put stuff that doesn't belong in the game and make it into a major focus. People are unpaid or their work is just uncredited.
While mods can be amazing, they also have the biggest failure risks. I am not shocked at all that CoC2 Modding Scene sort of died or remains unproductive. Horny can be a great motivator. Making a mod that allows you to fuck your daughter can inspire many degenerates to do miracles of coding and work. But, well, that's if we are lucky. Not only does it have to be made, it also better be good. Otherwise we end up with situations like the longest piece of literature on Earth being a fucking Loud House fanfiction that has 16,000,000 words. You can probably imagine the quality.

While i agree with what you said i think CoC has two other problems that come first.
It get's updates almost every week, so a lot of people don't even bother modding because the next update may screw up their work. Or it may include stuff they have been working on.
And secondly, and most important, Savin will even sacrifice his firstborn to prevent modding for his game.
Kas tells you why, elves are only good for being cocksleeves. Obviously she was just repeating the developers beliefs. Notice there isn't a single fleshed out wild elf character?

I could see where you're coming from if maybe the PC did it to her but it just doesn't feel like something to fetishize in this case imo.

Probably. You'd have to ask them though. Ryn is fairly well liked regardless, so whatever happened, worked.
Fetishy things being forced on people isn't at all unique even in this game, let alone these games as a whole. Several characters have been transformed in ways they didn't want, some were corrupted, etc.
That describes many, many things in this game. Caging is at least real, half of the fetishes in the game are made up fantasy.

Lowkey i think it's just a case of laziness and poor direction. I think Khor'minos was always meant to be Wsan's playground, and as we can see he didn't waste time in filling it up. Meanwhile, the general approach to most other hubs seems to be for Savin to draw their bare outlines and then peace out and leave them for others to fill (which also seems Savin's approach to most of his characters, see Ryn).
Sometimes it works out and whoever comes to the rescue, like Tobs with the temple and SKoW with the Wayfort, while other times shit's just left there to pick up dust, and we end up with ghost towns like the elven city and the horse villages (and arguably the orc camp and the bee hive, although i think the latter was SKoW's project).
Like, pretty much says it all that in a few months Khor'minos has become the most populated hub, short of Hawkethorne.
The elven city was intentional. For whatever reason, it was never going to be an actual city. Savin iirc has two more "cities" planned about the same size, one is going to be Tychris, salamander capital, and one other one I think.
KM is great...but KM is also slated to take like a year and a half of dev time. People are already complaining that this game is taking forever (somehow) can't imagine multiple cities of this size would help the issue.
