A kinu who would have told you and asked your dang opinion on her marriage choices would make a lot more sense as she literally asked you about every dang thing in her life before that point. Tobs just wanted to force this bratty nonsense bc that's who he wanted Kinu to be. He could taken out the entire advice choice b.s during childhood and just made her a brat from get go so that people could decide whether or not to even partake in his content. You don't actually influence Kinu in any true poignant manner its all fluff. I like the idea of Kinu i just dislike Tobs execution.....I really like Rindo but i'm not gonna lie, I want someone else to write her family dynamic. Yeah, agree on the front that. I enjoy the concept of my female champion having babies with Ryn, but at the expense of those that do not is not my idea of good time.

For me this criticism applies to the most of the game. I understand that this is a relatively small game, and expecting every choice under the rainbow is kind of unrealistic. But, I really liked the Kitsune quest-line in concept. And some of the push back the PC gets I found was interesting. Really makes me believe that this another culture that you're entering. I liked the idea that some one was welling to challenge you and wasn't going to simply bend over backwards to please you and if you could some how earn their respect (which like a lot of people have already pointed out should have been earned when you became the literal champion of their god) It would been cool if you could simply accept what Kiyoko and the other Kitsune's are telling you, or if you could change the culture some how. Initially I got the feeling they were trying to establish a colony and eventually they were going to be forced to interact with Hawthorne or the Winter city at some point. Which since you are married to their leader and champion for their god, it would have been cool if you are given the choice to act as an ambassador for the Kitsunes and formed alliances with the other cultures for them. The choice you made in these hypothetical quest could have lead to changes in the kitsune culture. Maybe some of the kitsune start appearing in other villages like Kohaku already does in the Minotaur village. You could have whole new quest where Kitsunes are trying to adjust to other cultures. Maybe some of the minor kitsune start falling in love are start conflicts with the other villages. I also would have made Kinu a temporary companion for these missions. It would have been a good way for your character to reconnect with her. It could have also put you in a situation where you need to avoid losing, as since everything in this game is trying to fuck something, losing could lead to terrible things happening to Kinu, or she might lose even more respect for you if she sees you getting easily defeated or bent over by some monster. These missions could lead to her becoming more bratty, more rebellious, or something else entirely. The lack of player choice, in a game where player choice is the main driving point, you need to give the play some meaningful interactions. Mending your relationship with your daughter or even interacting with your other kids could have been fun. That is what lost in this storyline. I see this problem in other quest-lines as well. I'm hoping that this will get better with time, but based on how the writers respond to criticism, I feel like they are just going to double down on their choices, and potentially kill an interesting concept.

Pretty much, Ryn is somewhat unique. I for one am glad there's isn't (yet, never say never I suppose,) an option to fully change her gender. Niche content is a good thing in moderation.

Actually Futa is the japanese term for hermaphrodite. A person that has both male and female genetalia though thanks to japan it is mostly seen as girl with extra.
The actual equivalent to femboy would be a Tomgirl, a woman that dresses and looks very manly.
Meanwhile the actually male equivalent to shemale, what Ryn actually is, would be a cuntboy, a more or less manly guy that actually has instead of dong and eggs a vagina.

Did you confuse tomgirl and tomboy? Tomboy is a girl who is boyish. A tomgirl is a boy who acts or dresses in a feminine way.
Wait what? I only know the latter is what is mostly called Femboy as I got explained that Tom is another word for male and so a Tomgirl would be a manly girl and so Tomboy would then just like Klammheimlich would be two words meaning the same.
This is nearly as confusing as the german saying of Half Eight for 7:30/19:30.
A "tom" is indeed an uncastrated male cat (or some other animals too), but language gonna language lol, so the actual usage in compound words differs a bit. A tomboy is a manly girl (in what ways she can display that manliness is a topic for debate), and a tomgirl is a feminine boy. IDK if there's much of a difference between tomgirl and femboy in theory, but in practice every character I've seen referred to as a tomgirl was also an obligate transvestite (wore dresses and had long hair in a feminine style), whereas femboy seems to be a more general term, so their appearance can be more androgynous, or even unambiguously masculine, so long as they're still effeminate. Cuntboys are people with masculine bodies, but who have vaginas instead of penises, and shemales are people with feminine bodies, but who have penises instead of vaginas (which is the case with Etheryn). This latter case is usually the result of an MtF transgender who has undergone hormone therapy, but hasn't yet received gender reassignment therapy (or chose not to). Futanari is indeed supposed to refer to feminine bodies which have both penises and vaginas, and in their original depictions also had balls, but that's become optional nowadays. IDK if there's a term for masculine bodies with both sets of genitalia, other than just "hermaphrodite".
