Both. Hanging with a gang is just inherently less cool than being a sole merc/hero/asshole like in the other games and it leads to CoC2 having massively less enjoyable sex scenes than TiTs post fight to me since they end in-universe so fast in comparison.

I don't know if you're wrong that other people say that, I don't follow the thread often. I do know they're wrong if they're saying that.
The cat specifically says its an open relationship literally like 2 mins into the game or you don't have one. That's not NTR.
The chick in frosthaven you can sent people to fuck with you only ever fucks allies as a gift from you while you are there with them. That's not NTR.
The orc chick and as far as I remember Brente only fuck around if you talk to very specific npc's and ask them to fuck them. That's also not NTR, although I've never done Brente's family content with him as a guy.
Etc.
I can't think of a single character you are actually in a proper relationship with who fucks around with people who aren't you by any other method than you telling them to other than that one scene with Etheryn. Everything else is either a random fling or the characters simply do not have any content beyond you fucking them.
The closest thing to NTR beyond that scene is literally you constantly cheating on everyone all the time with everyone.

Much as I like TiTs, it was much worse with forcing you into situations you don't like, especially with Anno's sister who'd often drag you off completely unprompted and unavoidably and dom half the time you see her. Although I gather she's a very unpopular character, specifically because of this.

People had beef with Syri for that? To even start her content you basically had to agree to bet your various orifices against her in a FPS deathmatch and she makes it very clear who's going to be on top if she wins. If people went through that and then were surprised they got a dommy wolf girl character I don't know what to say.

There's a difference between dommy wolf girl and 'no choice sex'. Also you beat her to recruit her, repeatedly.
Even Aradia has multiple warnings and a long stretch of grinding her dick in your throat before she does similar things.
Syrie just walks up to you, even if she hasn't beaten you once, even if your character has never been submissive to anyone ever, then assumes you want her to fuck your ass and dom you, and you have absolutely no control on this beyond never approaching her. Its just a really weird interaction.

I don't understand, it's in her initial options well before recruiting comes into it. It's been a while since I've read her scenes in the bar on the first planet but I'm sure she grinds her cock against you before you confirm the bet, there's never any confusion over what kind of character she is. Why even go through her multiple questlines to recruit her if you don't like the core premise? I could understand frustration if this was say Ula or some other vanilla focused character but Syri makes no sense to me.

The core premise of a girl who specifically you recruit via winning or losing to determine who fucks who.
Her 'core premise' was never '100% dom'. It was never 'no control'. The initial way you interact with her is as a switch and specifically under more control than the majority of the encounters in the game, under extra rules most people don't work, which you both consent to.

Sexually invasive tentacles are not in the game, and there's barely any horny demon sex-wizards.
Granted there's an absolute shitload of overly-amorous monstergirls and furry futa femdoms, so if you're into getting fucked in the ass by a horsecock or impregnating one of the walking meat-toilets that regulary fuck half the population of the setting while pregnant with your child, this game will be right up your alley.

Because you must be? To even entertain the bet in the first place the player must be ok with the idea of being submissive to her, sure you could win every time or savescum to avoid the loss scenes but even accepting the bet to begin with means that yeah, the player is ok with the possible outcomes.
Either way this is the wrong thread so we should probably stop there, I was mostly just surprised anyone would be upset by completely in character behavior. It's like ordering tomato soup and then complaining it tastes of tomatos.

Not to mention player transformations actually matter, and some of the characters (Sera for example) are worlds better than anything in CoC2.

For real Sera pushes all the right buttons for me, Her, Ardia and Lane are so far the only dommes where you can still be affected by their dominance even if you're far away. Sera gives you a collar that can project a facsimile of her dick that you can use if you're feeling antsy. Not ingesting Ardia's jizz for long periods of time gives you withdrawal symptoms and makes you more vulnerable to lust damage, Lane removes 500 credits everyday if you're fully hypnotized. CoC2 just doesn't have content like this.

Princess Nasty's games, Fisianna's dates (ugh), Bianca's random meetups, Ardias addiction, either of the two stalker NPCs theyve recently added....

Lots of characters have mechanics, or at the very least affection meters that change things as they progress.

TiTs has a real "throw it at the wall and see what sticks" approach that makes it into the buggy hot mess that it is, but also produces a large variety of inventive scenarios.

TiTs, imo, has the best porn out of all three games, even if I still like CoC2 a bit more.

Imo 2 has the best companions. Most of tits are just repeated choosing the same options to fill an invisible sub or dom bar or static or slaves you simply own and never do anything with. Same for CoC1. Amily is great though. 2 has multiple linked quest chains that react to choices you made with the characters like Etheryn's confidence or Brin/ette being a dude or a chick that go more indepth than the offerings of the other games.
1 had the best world. It was dark without being needlessly edgy like gastigoth and trenchwives or being as overly blase as CoC2 where you mostly just help etheryn while the demon crushes on you in the background.
But TiTs has by far the best actual sex scenes. They're the most responsive to your body mods (mostly coc/2 just look at dick size and make a little note if you came a lot), let your character just keep going or cumming for ages and do the best job actually justifying things via race or mods rather than having characters who are just inexplicably gods of sex for no reason. Knowing most goos are whores by default and most red ant ladies have no men/futa to fuck and are therefore desperate is hot in and of itself. Also has the side effect of allowing people to make entire races to justify writing more of their fetish, like the aforementioned snake chicks and tons of places to put them.
But tits also has very lackluster quality control so sometimes you get really questionable/buggy content and I don't remember CoC2 ever having a notably imbalanced encounter or many bugs.

CoC2 just feels the most competantly put together. It has the most consistent writing (even if its not as hot), most consistent artstyle, consistent balancing and a story that actually feels like its leading somewhere worth caring about that's actually progressing rather than just adding random new sex scenes in old areas (although I'm fine with that personally, I'm invested in the characters and sex, not the overall narrative)

Oh wait CoC2 does have 1 bug. The horse lady with the harem (an inexplicable sex god with no real justification, one of the things tits does better since she'd have justification beyond 'the writer wanted his oc to be the best'). If I get pregnant with her child, it instantly boots me to the inn, then instantly skips like a month, then I give birth to like 20 kids for some reason. I'm not sure if she's just supposed to be so virile it knocks me out of commision for a month or what.

And this just goes to show how well her character is that I've never touched her dom content that hits your buttons when it's her sub content that hits for me. A bitchy dom you can not only turn the tables on but outright literally own, a complex dance putting her in her place, and even then she still pranks you to earn more "punishments." And a better preg route than Tobs could write if his life depended on it. SubArona is as close as CoC2 comes to this and she is a pale pale shadow of Sera.

The best and the worst of all 3 games is definitely in TiTS, CoC2 is just bland and safe, almost like just doing the bare minimum to keep the money rolling in...

I was addressing the high number of players dissatisfied with the game, not the devs. I know well that the situation for the devs of this game is totally comfortable and secure, and that they don't really need to worry about anything else.
