Imagine an artist owning a character. What a riot.

No, pretty much everyone in LT is owned by Inno, and almost every major character has like 2 or 3 artists that drew them. So no one artist really owns anyone.

Not garbage solely in the sense that it's leaning on scrub-your-hdd/ssd content - there were games where that worked regardless of whether you were into it, like Paraphore - but in the sense that it's short/undescriptive, poorly-written, and jarringly out of place.

Even the new vanilla scenes that I've encountered in the mod are like that. Compared to the fan favorites no one is going to be re-reading two paragraphs of 'and then you totally boned her' that the mod-exclusive content tends to be.

Thanks, that's actually nice, I downloaded it and looked at some settings 'n stuff (I liked those, much more direct control over things than in the vanilla game) but a changelog should give me a more accurate idea of whats going on with the mod and what they've been working on recently.

I actually used an AI drawing of one of the character's artists that served to make it look more appealing.

Basically this. On top of that, combat requires way way way too many unnecessary clicks, and is intentionally balanced towards the dev's fetish with weak player character. Or else it would be a power fantasy.
So every companion is better than the MC.
So the companions do most of the combat for you.
It is extremely boring, repetitive, and utterly pointless.
