>we are given a chance to explain to both Kiyoko and Kinu and your kids that they can come out but it will take 10+ years.I think the whole issue with kinu and such could be possibly solved if we are given a chance to explain to both Kiyoko and Kinu and your kids that they can come out but it will take 10+ years.
There's only two possible explanation :Getting Inari is just fucking weird, though. Like, if you take the time to teach your own daughter, you get Hime points. If you praise her "beauty", you get Hime points. If you encourage her to believe in love, you get Hime points. Forgiving her own mother? Guess. Hime points.
So, why the fuck does Hime treat us like that? It makes no fucking sense. Being an attentive and caring dad means your daughter will end up holding all but contempt for you. Being an absent weirdo means she still likes you. Fucking loony shite.
It can totally be both you know. There's only two possible explanation :
ToBS is hack and fraud writer
Or
ToBS has trauma with his own dad
Pick your poison
The dialogue in the Inari kinu quest definitely doesn't show any hidden care for Kiyoko. Just anger, not to mention the other events they have together. The difference is the mother and daughter's preference and perspective.
The farmer Kinu has a preserve personality while her mother is playful and lewd.
Indeed, farmer Kinu dislikes her mother's personality but she doesn't hate her mother.
For example, my mother feels bad every time she sees me playing a game and calls playing games bad.
But she still cares for me.
So both Hime and Shoujo love their father and mother but in different ways.
On a rare defence of TOBS, in the case of Kinu her first reaction is quite logical : the emotionnal response and the intellectual logical one are often in oposition while she can understand that the fox god had interfere in your ability to visit them, she was just a child whom one parent didn't come back from buying cigarettes. Add the reason you were away was to free her mother and spend more time with her, she could conclude that you sacrificied her childhood and time with her for more sex with her mother.Funny how Kiyoko can always tell that the very mortal and not special MC had the amulet even before they met until stuff goes dark and suddenly there is a bit of the family losing faith and your daughter building resentment towards you....Buuuuuut none of them point any fingers at the literal deity who's reality marble they have been stuck in. The kind of existence who should be able to feel like something is wiggling in their domain. Nah fuck dad though he should have tried harder despite his biggest magical feat was learning blue magic in a day...in another god's Domain....who knew you were there the second you got in...
Im in mood for some safari...Oh wow, a Tobs defender in the wild
Logical or not, nobody wants this to happen. I haven't seen anyone make the argument that it's so good because it's realistic and you can't always get what you want. Have you ever watched porn where they recreate a realistic neurosurgery? No, because nobody was looking for a documentary in the first place. Leave the despair content to games themed around it, like NTR, or don't write porn at all. Go finish the last GoT book or something. On a rare defence of TOBS, in the case of Kinu her first reaction is quite logical ...
And that is all fine and dandy, I'm not going to fault them for that. What I will do however, is be pretty salty that on multiple occasions mc is put in a situation where he feels like a stranger in his own "home" after the awkward air of 10 years MIA has been cleared, and yet the fraudulent god who at best damaged the family pretty bad due to sheer negligence and at worst did it for the lulz gets nothing but absolute reverence from them without even so much of a hint of a crisis of faith. On a rare defence of TOBS, in the case of Kinu her first reaction is quite logical : the emotionnal response and the intellectual logical one are often in oposition
I don't want logic, I want a cute (or cold but still cute) daughter to dote on.snip
Right, 'cause nothing screams I love you, parent more than showing they hate the shit out of you. From my pov, both Kinu express their love toward their family in their own way.
The usual is not at all, right?I'll use this as an excuse when I beat my wife harder than usual.
Oh don't worry, he can't help himself. Dude's plotting how to spite people everyday and he gets off on that shit. Please TOBS my man, do not shit the bed with Hotaru I fucking beg you.
From another pov, the Jedi are the bad guys. From my pov, both Kinu express their love toward their family in their own way.
