My money's on the Thief

I recently got the bar brawler title with a lvl 4 thief.
It did not seem weak to me.

You need to go through all Rina's training scenes. After that you'll unlock the marriage option when talking with Brint, it's the last one after the brush hair option. I believe you need to have him with you when you visit, someone on the main forum also mentioned there's a minimum of times you must've had sex with Brint before the option is available.

Ok then, what class do you consider weak compared to others?

My point on the Thief was just that I felt anything the Thief could do the Warrior also could...but better (since their damage bonus is always active and ignoring speed penalties to heavy weapons/equipment means their speed is never reduced, some of the best weapons I find have the heavy property and since Thief has to be speedy I sort of avoid them when playing one.)

That was done years ago. The SyrixAnno scenes were made more recently. I would just chalk it up to them kneejerk reacting at the time.

Got a question for you guys, we all know Charmer is the strongest class but which class do you consider the weakest one in this game?

My money's on the Thief because of it's ability kind of pigeon-holes you into a single target damager whereas Warriors can do as much damage as you do in AoE and we all know how important AoE becomes as this game progresses (also because Blackmage, Whitemage and Charmer all increase Presence, buffing both their summons & allies I think they all are strong options hence not counting them.)

Thief still has some good AOE and if your using Bri to sweep the trash using their big hits on the boss works good for me. Of course I also generally learn Charge Weapon to throw a holy AOE off the bat. Hard to say though as Black Mage isn't really weak either once your big spells roll out. Healer maybe?

Spamming heals doesn't make a class strong, it just makes them a punching bag.

And then it's a waiting game to see if your party wins or the enemy crits on your cloth robe

I mean, that's how I always build my healer.
A literal damage sponge since every attack I do misses anyway so might as well let the totally-balanced party members do the work~~~

Zero risk, High reward is always my go-to.

I'm not saying it doesn't work, I'm just saying it doesn't make a class strong and Nod was looking for the weakest class. You could totally rock a white mage with Cait and Etheruined to out sponge them all but that sounds dreadfully boring to me.

Used to main warrior / thief then I got assblasted by RNGsus 24/7, changed class to charmer ASAP 'cause most of their hits are kinda guaranteed or maybe I just got lucky there.
I can't play those two w/o deepthroating a cactus to regain sanity or bash my head on a wall when I miss for the Nth time.
Story mode difficulty btw with agility or smth as part of the main stat growth.

I only went with best bro Brint and Etheruined with her summon so I can cheese the 5th slot with my own summon.

Charmer/Black Mage IMO are the best classes for their almost-guaranteed accuracy & monopoly over AoE powers.

Also Ryn's original set is ok...but Queen Railment makes her the best healer/damage sponge in the game, second only to Atugia who is a healer & damage dealer.

P.S: Whitemages get Presence too, so their mere existance makes Summons stronger and also makes Companions more OP so while not the most exciting it deffinitly is still strong.

Strange, I've never had an accuracy problem on my thief. Used to be a problem with tanks not properly taking aggro and thief could suffer when stealing the spotlight but that got fixed during the combat revamp. I'll take Gia over Etheruined any day though, and not just because I like her better. Pure heals is just a waste of action economy when you can have someone that heals and tanks while dishing out some okay damage at the same time. And if I want a summon I can put Bri in her fiery harem garb.
