This is an honest question because I have played in a long while so my memory is fuzzy. How much corruption is Kas actually responsible for in the setting? I know she was directly responsible for introducing imps, painted Demons, the corrupted plants, Behemoth and exposing the worst instincts of the elf queen. But it seems like there was already an evil cult before she got there, kitsunes who will rape you if you don't agree to feed them, orcs who will rape and enslave you, the minotaurs who if they get too rapey need to wear magical armor to turn them into bimbo cows, whatever Evergreen is up to and biggest red flag to me are the sex temples that groom kids to be prostitutes but I'm supposed to believe they didn't use those same kids as prostitutes. I also don't trust those so called gods.Honestly, reading her reply also gave me a pretty "eehhhh..." feeling. See, I get what she means, but the issue here isn't "rewarding the player for not going for Kassyra's content", the issue is, in my eyes, not PUNISHING the player for going for Kas. She is a freaking evil corruptor demon you are supposed to stop. And yet, there is zero drawbacks for trying to side with her. As the result, not going for her makes it feel like you are just... well, skipping content out of... roleplay? Immersion?
It's a choice, yes, and, arguably, it's a choice that seemingly supposed to have consequences, but in reality, it feels more like there is a corridor that eventually divides, but instead of two routes you can take, there is a bucket you can pick up that adds a lot of new content by just taking it. It's still the same road, but now you have the bucket, which is more content, so what's the harm in taking it every time?
As the result, it feels like you might as well bite the bullet, because there are zero disadvantages to going Kas route and it feels like developers intended you to do it anyway. And the only justification you can do to not take it, again, "mah immersion"
I guess my point is that Kas isn't really that big of a threat because all she's doing is exposing how fucked up the realm truly is under the surface.
