This feels like a bit of false equivalence, one is risking losing their primary revenue stream and the other is annoying a sub section of their fans. Ryn has two paths after all, the scene works fairly well for high confidence Ryn even if it's still nothing to write home about.

I mean it does seem like inconsistent writing for ryn since for the vast majority of the game it seems like ryn has interest only in the PC and the times she does have sex with other characters it's because the PC makes her.
