She's either written as mentally abusive or as bipolar, not sure what's worse, because in scenes in the orb she's pretty nice. In novellas tobs wrote apparently she borderline or literally abuses kinu during parenting, and occasionally during the actual game. While alone out of the orb she seems loving and goes through all the effort to make a mammoth box of food multiple times. When you're at the den she acts like someone putting on a "business face" but it's never explicitly referred to as putting on a face, and the stuff about not caring whether you join her or not is away from subordinates so it doesn't appear to be about showing strength or anything. For a character that's supposed to be part of a loving family sim with a possibility of becoming a kitsune for them and living happily ever after, it comes across, IMHO as a worse twilight. The love interest has less good qualities and the family has minimal bro or sismance or cool doctor in laws.

I think the main takeaway here should be: Don't inject your trash tier soap opera bullshit into a game where you get dicked by horse cocks on the regular. Because even if this shit was done well, it still wouldn't fit well into the game at all. Kitsune content is just a completely different game that TOBS is allowed to write for whatever reason. None of this shit even wraps back around to completing an area like the orc camp, the hornet hive, or even the mare village. It's all just there because... why the fuck not. You show a person a kitsune content scene and a main story scene, they would think they're completely different games, written by completely different people, for completely different reasons.

Anyone have detail about what Quin's new additions are... I don't know if i want to bother seeing the content.

From what I remember it's just him talking about how much he wants to fuck the female companions some more. The writer is not going to do anything interesting with the character, I advise you just act like Quin doesn't exist.

While "cucking" you (he was assuming everyone wanted to fuck their kitsune daughter) via the arranged marriage narrative. Telling you to stay out of it as only real people (kitsune) have a say on the matter, and being railroaded to just agree to it in character despite what you actually wanted.

He then spent a bunch of IRL money to commission a bunch of artists to draw porn of the kitsune daughter being railed by her arranged marriage. All in an attempt to "get back" at some people he argued with in the forums once.

Whether he does it on purpose or not, I don't really care. My point is that Savin lets this charade go on because he's a wonderful guy that can't say no to TOBS and probably agrees with him because of the dumbass fiasco with Helspawn. I'm mostly saying what I'm saying to get it off my chest and evaluate the game as a product, regardless of dev intentions. It's legitimately bad content(something I am usually very hesitant to say) and I think it makes the product much uglier when looked at as a whole. It's a shame because some of the ideas presented are nice. Watching your daughter grow up and be her own woman, finding love and her place in the world. That could make for some genuinely good family content that would make me give a damn about this pregnancy stuff they put on so many damn characters.

But that isn't what the content is. And that's genuinely a real fuckin' shame, because it had potential. A lot of it. Much like the rest of this game. So, so much potential. Ah well, the game has introduced me to wsan and hopefully his own game actually becomes a thing so I wouldn't have to deal with such disappointment!

If nothing else, physically expressing why I find his content so disagreeable and properly explaining my reasoning helps me have perspective and integrity with my own writing. Last thing I wanna do is create content like TOBS'.

Regardless of the context, the fact remains that this guy wrote an entire story line with multiple outcomes out of spite. That is quite a lot of effort, not just with regards to writing, but also coding and designing the whole damn system. Which meant that he couldn't have just been riding the initial "fuck you" high; this spite was carried over weeks and months of creation. All for something that could be answered with "I'm not doing incest for this storyline, I want to create a wholesome family dynamic" or some other reason and just point to that whenever people asked.

It's enough to call TOBS a bit deranged, tbh. I don't say this as a personal attack, but as a natural result of the guy making a storyline in a freaking porn game a direct attack against his perceived enemies. That's the sort of thing I expect fanfic writers on Ao3 to do, not writers who are getting paid for what they do.

I'm testing the new content of Quin and his armor and it's really not bad......... it may be the translator that makes it different but I must say that I liked the new content although its author has some problems is not such a bad writer also with the new armor it is easier for me to have a team of only men with Quin and Brint.

Sausages party are not viable due to the lack of healers. I mean its possible to cross dicks on 'bruderschaft' inside of some poor(?) girl, but without healing items it will turn into anal-carnaval pretty soon.

In my personal opinion, the cult and its membership are so unabashed actually evil that even tangential relation to them(former members, financial backers and allies) are quite in the realm of being put to death for their portion of putting the world into danger. I mean if we go by the shitty little story that Savin and co have written out? Directly due to their actions, a major city state has been under siege since essentially the game started and that has resulted in the deaths and corruption of god only knows how many people, you can sort of forgive them for the Winter City(I wouldn't because their actions again directly lead to it but at least they weren't directly involved unlike the Siege) if you wanna go softball on em but again.

The cult is a scum fuck terrorist organization and there is no good justification for it, so Jacque Hussein Quin really does have the whole permanently being ignored by me thing down flat, it really doesn't help that he requires a lot more effort for basically no reward save having a horndog cultist who openly remarks on wanting to cuck you. Might never get the chance to lop his head for his asshole deeds but I can certainly not include him in the game.
