Imo every single member of wolf tavern family was wasted. You're even introduced to Garth before you are cait, but gweyrs quest sunsets all of them. Garth is set up similar to sojiro/iwai from persona 5, but has no long term support.
Garrett is one of very few likeable male platonic/romantic characters, has a good character arc of growing as a person, has a unique gauntlet fighting style, you help him with all his regrets and things holding him down, tons of bro content, and now he's just scheduled to be shipped off to mercenaries. Seems perfectly set up to have been a later companion, definitely more than viviane.
Gwyn is caretaker of the entire games children but ends, too. Dialogue wise she's treated mostly as one dimensional or shuts any further dialogue down when being wrote more complex, so she comes off as uh, switching between having developmental issues or being manic/depressive. Had same ero content forever but got a threesome with second best cat farming tool from Temple some time ago so that's cool I guess. Gweyr got a full arc but they decided to write her as an old invalid at the end so she just sits in her rocking chair now. The finale is also handled poorly, been while since I did it, but think it was by tobs? PC was wrote similar to how he was in convocation of mirrors, just suddenly super pretentious and a prick to everyone, handled everything textbook worst way possible, particularly last confrontation with Garth.
I can't write gooder but tons of room for war vignettes from them too, like how kinus are. They always mention little events but they're never shown or vividly described. Have a younger Garth/gweyr/merc npc, play out scenarios from their life, their relationship, gweyr dom action, gweyr wearing that maid outfit they gave jaelyn. Would give Garth/gweyr ero content without breaking their relationship. Kitsune end belt doesn't really have any competition, so maybe after doing a few or a particularly hard one, something like "thanks for listening, kid. This always kept me safe, but I don't need it anymore. You're one of the family now anyway." and you get something like a Grey Wolf belt that cleanses a stun early on PC once a fight or a bonus action once.

Check that you have free slots for it. Things go red if you don't have room in your inventory for them
The Gweyr level during her quest sucked . you are right that they are all pretty wasted when it comes to content though.

Eh, most people don't like them, but I like them ok. Biggest problems with them imo is they really don't seem balanced higher difficulty wise, they could just be cutscenes, or it could be from a PC pov. Gweyr is one thing since the player was completely away, but kinu in particular is just ludicrous.
Keros could have warned PC and PC could have went through portals and arrived themself first time, the escort should have had PC or, again, a keros warning, but instead all of your kids with kiyoko are almost slain, but no casualties because I guess generic duelist furry sucks at his job that much. If I remember correctly I believe early on in her dev, what's now known as rindo was supposed to have been a platonic arc with asagiri, or another of your daughters, heavily burned in the first attack, but it was considered too dark. Tobs wants kinu to be a Mary Sue mc though so all pc can do is ignore it and hear about your family almost being slain again, but kinus on a training arc and a parent wouldn't care enough to butt in so it's k.
The reason gave for that is kitsune content is supposed to be isolated and handling it's own issues while PC handles "bigger errands", but unless they changed the original outline, the shadowy blobs attacking kinu are supposed to be an evil gods forces, which was originally supposed to be a corrupt line of content starting near where you pick up the amulet but "nobody wanted to write it". The amount of actual power they're putting into kinu is absurd, actual power fantasy. Kiyoko and PC are both decently powerful but require up to 3 companions and can be taken down with lucky swings by basically anything, cutscenes or gameplay, but their child, with minimal training, no artifacts, with a history of an isolated farmer or super housewife, staves off a demon army and ""master duelist"" with a shortbow or glorified spear.
It just occured to me I went off on a tangent but kitsune are the biggest piece of dogs***
dont rely on viewing files, there's a lot in there with no actual content in game, think a couple gods are in there too that haven't been shown yet. dont think vitra has any actual corruption yet

its technically not currently in the game YET
when they made Vitra they also coded the corrupted version for when KM gets corrupted in later updates
its even functional too, you just need to change some function in the game so KM gets the "isCorrupted" parser
i dont recall exactly how i did but typing km.isCorrupted =function(){return!!flags.GARTH_STORAGE_UPGRADE} in the console should enable it, also enables Nieves corrupt content (just one scene but with a pregnacy) and a few descriptions on KM change
