From what I understand, Azami wasn't supposed to have any content at all, but people liked her enough to ask for content, and the devs decided to oblige. It's not just Azami x Takahiro content: the PC is going to get them back together, with the option of participating in a threesome with them.

Though IDK if it's the salt mine or what, but I have no clue why they'd think people asking for Azami content wanted something like this LMAO.

I know about the threesome but it still definitely feels like the writer just doing whatever they want rather than listening to what others want. Do they think there's an overlap of people who want to sex Azami and Takahiro? Because I'm 99% certain there isn't lmao. That's literally the only reason they'd do it this way if they're even trying to pretend to listen to fans. But like I said, I heavily doubt anybody wanted both at the same time so why do it this way? Only thing I can think of is the writer just simps for Takahiro and this is just an excuse to get their silly ship into the game.

A shame because I actually liked her design and art. Not that I'd fuck her anyway because she's probably a piece of shit like the others, but still.

They're mostly Tobs' characters, and he has an idea for the endpoint of all of them and the overall direction of the kitsune storyline, so anyone writing them has to stick somewhat to a plan.

Bubbles is trying to give people Azami content and, according to him at least, his Patreon likes this particular direction for Taka/Azami.

Personally I'm not against the idea of an NPC couple you can get down with (Livrea's parents look great) but, uh...Takahiro sucks. He doesn't deserve nice things.

The problem with futa IMO, and the reason it gets so blown out of proportion by people who dislike it, is the "trap" factor. Players will already start forming their opinion on characters just by looking at them, and it's a real letdown when what looks to you like an attractive woman ends up having a dick (if you're not into that), so it sticks with you longer.

Hell, on rare occasions the writers intentionally mislead the player, or bank on the fact that the player might be making looser decisions about who they fuck (because it's a porn game), in the hopes of going "gotcha", or "judging" the player on their behaviour (e.g. Evelyn in CoC2, Nayna in TiTS), which IMO just feels like trolling, and does not help the situation.

I don't have the poll, but the story is this: some time back, I asked on the Fenoxo forums about the option to de-dick some futa chartacters in TiTS, and Savin replied to me by saying that they wouldn't do it, because (in addition to technical difficulties relating to how sex scenes are constructed) they had polled their patrons and futa was in the top 3 most popular fetishes. Now, CoC2 might not have the exact same fanbase as TiTS, but I figured that there would be enough similarity to assume that futa must be in a similarly high position among the general fanbase.

It might be a small number of characters but the concept that a large amount of those small numbers come from random encounters that occur pretty often the numbers appears skewered. And as for the polls so far all that means is that SUPPOSEDLY at SOME point in time their MIGHT have been a poll that stated Futunari was popular.

The work would be to have her realize that clinging to an old romance that didn't work out isn't a healthy thing, especially when the subject of her attraction is a drunkard and a horrible person all around.

Not to nitpick, but Evelyn is literally introduced with a girl sucking her dick. Like it's made abundantly clear that her knob is getting polished. If you assumed that she did not have a dick while her dick was in a girl's mouth that's on you isn't it? Arona got a scene, and some talks.
We got one new futa character with like...4 scenes.

It's not even close. Both content wise and number wise this game leans waaaaaay in the female direction.

Ah the ol' unexpected facing of the consequences of my own actions. Just messin, it happens to me on occasion. Especially with ubiquitous options like "Ride Her". Sometimes it means you get on her cowgirl style, other times it means you mount her doggystyle. You can imagine my pain when I was playing through as a male barbarian who's main thoughts were "Any hole is a goal" and "I have no desire to receive penis in my butt." Since the game doesn't really offer corruption content, I just roleplay my own corruption based on the current corruption level and the backstory I made up for my current character.
