Don't know if Wsan has gotten burned out due to porn brain rot or it was the request of the patreon that wanted their OC added to the game. While Tay isn't their worst work but not great. It could be possible they just wanted to get her out the way so Alante who we have waited for who knows how many months at this point lost count to get more focus otherwise benching Alante for Tay was wild.

Honestly don't know why they couldn't get another writer to do Tay since I don't feel the usual passion from Wsan so both him and Savin can focus on finishing Khorminos already.

The usual passion from Wsan is so missing that it feels like Tobs wrote the character.

Afaik Wsan doesn't do commissions. Kaly was an exception probably exclusively because he needed to write one anyway, so much so he burned through writing all of her original content in 3 days.

Is it just me or does the descriptions of the colosseum items seem a bit.... bland? Like, the eastern greatblade for example, is it mongol, chinese, hell inspired by the Philippines even? No description of any part of it aside from length?

hope you are right about alante, I've been looking foward to her. Octavia isn't the worst thing that has happened to this game( looking at you kinu and kitsune den) but at the same time kalysea and her feel forced. especially since they both get added as quests. I didn't follow kalysea but now every time I look at my quest page, I have to see Tay's name pop up and be reminded of her BRAT calling shit.

I still haven't bothered freeing her from the necklace. The dream world content with you helping raise Kinu was adorable and the fact that they instagrow all your kids just so the writer can make them go off and fuck someone was the worst decision I'd seen in the game. Even worse if you consider that in-lore they just made all your kids grow up without a father for no reason.

Thats because Wsan in fact did not write the character. The game just updated with a correction for the Author.

You can't tell her to fuck off to end the quest? Kalysea doesn't get auto added. I just ignore their invite and nothing ever pops up on my quest log.

Can't really agree there, Kalysea feels fairly natural given the area and the semi mind control helps smooth over out of character decisions by the player character. She also doesn't have a build up that is inherently out of character for a sub themed pc to be engaging with, a lot of Tay's problems could be fixed by just not having her introduction be the arena champion fight.

The chinese had two handed dao quite literally designed for cleaving horses, as did the mongols I believe. The asias all had similar weapon designs and intentions and partially similar armor designs as well, this particular complaint is probably just a nitpick since you can go "Its whatever you imagine it to be" but like, just looking at everything but the bear mug feels so uninspired, no offense to wsan of course but it genuinely feels like he was just bored while writing it up. Hell, the bow and king sword are literally like 3-5 words long
