I think the big difference is that sleeping around isn't the main (or only) aspect to Anno's character. Anno is a science nerd, forst and foremost, and that comes through pretty strongly.

Cait is supposed to be really into history, I think? And magic? But that never comes across. She rarely has any aspect to her personality besides "friendly" and "slutty".

And Anno shows she can handle relationships. She has a girlfriend she's very happy with and we see then together. Kaede is clearly thinking about getting them married. We're also shown, from her parents, what a healthy relationship with Ausar can look like.

Cait just wasn't written with any nuance. Anno is a character that happens to be also be slutty, Cait is a slut with some character traits tacked on.

Moira's art is definitely far superior than the inflated balloon animals Adjatha draws these days. In terms of "bigger" characters, I do wish Lumia had a slightly different bust. Cait isn't disliked as much for being a happy go lucky slut as much as how unavoidable she is. Out of all the companions, she's easily the one that's most shoved down your throat. If you aren't fond of any other companion, you can either outright banish them or you just have to endure their presence in the quests that are centered around them. Meanwhile Cait gets inserted into the most random quests without an alternative, like when you need her to get married to either the centaur or the mino chick I forget which.

Anno is a better example.

Anno is a tad better than Cait in my book, but as I've outlined above, the story not revolving around her is a huge likeability factor imo.

Agreed, that's a good change and finally something geared towards the player's enjoyment (It won't stop me from killing Sandre & Caera in every playthrough I do since I don't like them but still, we should recognize good decisions when they happen.)
