Been over a year since a proper release under the guise of bs(fixing code, redrawing already complete parts, milking his patreons members), and the fact people are still paying for a scam is crazy. I remember when they put out quality updates since his first game Bubblegum Adventure years ago, then you had the scam games Connie Summer job, Dextor's Plan being worked on instead of Corruption Time. Since then no new update that actually had any quality to it. What a greedy hack. This new update has ZERO ACTUAL new scenes. That's right, spent almost a year re-working on this update and nothing new.Jesus FUCKING CHRIST why does it feel like so few devs ACTUALLY finish their games on here. I KNOW game development is hard but holy shit at least bother fucking finishing the copious amounts of bullshit you start. (though i'll grant you the art looks fairly better even if it is further from show accuracy than the first one since its got shading now.)
the game was SUPER buggyWhy you remake the game? WHY???
i think its because 1 man teams only can do so much and its not easy to make a game + art + coding + writing all while proofreading/bugfixing, 2 man teams that split the work also have interpersonal issues that make it more likely the game ends when the two split over creative or professional differences. Lastly there's incentives to keep going if you are getting a decent pay better to remake and restart than finish if it means more patron dollars.Jesus FUCKING CHRIST why does it feel like so few devs ACTUALLY finish their games on here. Know what? Thats actually a very fair rebuttal. Color me impressed.i think its because 1 man teams only can do so much and its not easy to make a game + art + coding + writing all while proofreading/bugfixing, 2 man teams that split the work also have interpersonal issues that make it more likely the game ends when the two split over creative or professional differences. yea thats the real reason projects rarely get finished. if its one guy its normally burnout, if its more its normally issues nothing to do with developing a game and then the secret third option for both is greed and milking the project. goes for 99% of all projects not getting finished, being put on hold or development slowing. its nothing new, been in this community for 10+ years now, maybe 25% of projects i keep an eye on actually keep up their development pace for any significant amount of time and maybe 25% of those even finish the project at all.Know what? that makes one of usAt this point I rather play A.I. slop *sigh*
There are people that still think yandere simulator is a good game thats coming out fully optimised. I'm not surprised on any supported scam on this site.Been over a year since a proper release under the guise of bs(fixing code, redrawing already complete parts, milking his patreons members), and the fact people are still paying for a scam is crazy. occasionally you get a good dev who makes a game, finishes it in a decent amount of time and then makes ANOTHER game or an expansion or something similar, but the subsequent games/expansions normally end the same way as the majority of projects as highlighted earlier, just a matter of time. sometimes they fail on their second game, sometimes they make it to 5 or 6, rarely do they get past that.
AI is kind of the future of games like these, animation/art is easier but please keep AI away from Scripts and coding until it's in a better state. I just wish people would train the AI to make more different characters and keep clothes from merging into a body. Its no different from honey select or some other modeling programs other people use much of the time. At least AI can do parody fairly well and can copy most IP with models as good as most people just it misses some artistic uniqueness that certain artists have like akabur and whatnot. At this point I rather play A.I. slop *sigh*
