Version 0.4 of the game features 10 scenes, 8 of which are animated, having at least 2 frames each, with the vast majority having at least 3.

Is the general gameplay in the starting town indicative of how the game is mostly going to be? I'm curious if this is just her "powering up" or if Arisa's overall plan is "ruin everyone's life via sex, eventually focusing her way towards her main target".

Yes, most of the gameplay will be like the initial village, that is, the basic RPGMaker gameplay with a strong visual novel influence. There will be some combat in crucial moments, but it’s definitely not the main focus.

At least that's the plan for now, but these things can change. The game is still in early development, so things could head in a different direction if I feel that's what's best for the game.

I’ve been trying to innovate the gameplay with some games made in GM2 (GameMaker), like JOI and Potion Brewing, but I haven’t received any feedback on them yet.

Let me ask a more direct question then, though if it is a spoiler feel free not to answer--Is part of her plan turning some of the people in town into Demons to serve her goals?

Oh, and the potion brewing was okay but felt sort of weirdly out of place.

how do i know if i'm done? are you only supposed to get to 34% corruption in act 1? I was kind of expecting the farmer girl to fuck a horse...or you know something to get the tag...

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! Honestly, I was even a bit worried that the plugin I made to integrate with GM2 hadn't worked properly. As for your question, it'll definitely be answered as the story unfolds. I hope you enjoy the ride until then!

Can you fix this?
This type of error usually means the file is missing. But when downloading the game through the Pixeldrain link on the forum, you can see that it's actually included. This BGM is specifically the nighttime music.

Are you playing on a mobile device? Could you check if this file is included in the audio/bgm/ folder?

I haven't tested the game on emulators, I can take a look tomorrow.

Thanks.

Okay, just got past the potion minigame, and I have to say that it's garbage. The game is fine, has potential for greatness, but not if something that jarring pops up regularly (or even semi-regularly).

Don't get me wrong, the game is fine, the story is fine (if only her human experiences softened her a little, playing as the villain works better if the player has actual choices), but the sudden minigame is ass. Let me tell you, that was surprising, and not in the good way. I instinctively reached for my antivirus when the game threw up a mini-window. And then the minigame itself--long enough to be tedious and challenging enough to be annoying.

The dev who otherwise did a fine job making a pretty good RPGM porn game should keep in mind that we the players are here for the porn, and maybe a side of story and choices. It's the same issue with great games like Caliross, the difference being I already liked the game enough to attempt toughing it out.

You did good not making the village map too big to remember and I suggest doing the same in the future--skip the tedium and stick to the basics--dialogue and scenes. Extra mechanics like dungeon crawling and puzzles are seasoning because it's a porn game.

Forcing us to use our brains will kill the boner. For example, once I had to switch my brain back on, I had to wonder why the experienced adventurers didn't suspect anything when they so clearly marked Arisa out as 'acting strange'. In a fantasy world with monsters of all shapes and sizes ANY abnormality would warrant investigation--especially since there's no apparent emergency.

First of all, thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Right now, there are only two "minigames" in the game. One is the potion brewing one, and the other is more of a scene than a minigame. I created them mainly as a test. I felt the gameplay might be a bit too dry, so I wanted to experiment with different ideas to make things more interesting. Personally, I’m not a big fan of the default RPG Maker turn-based combat, and I don’t think it suits the theme, especially since the MC isn’t really a fighter.

The minigame is skippable, but that might not be as clear as it should be. When it says, “This is an experimental feature, do you want to start the game?”, selecting “No” brings up the option to skip it. However, since every other event asks the same, it’s easy to miss that this particular one can be skipped entirely.

I’d be open to adding more minigames if there’s interest, but if most players feel the experience is better without them (as it stands, it looks like that’s the case), I’ll probably focus on adding more scenes instead.

Really glad you enjoyed the rest of the game though, and thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback!

Thank YOU for taking the time to respond, dev!

Honestly you have a potential great in the making here. The scenes are about as good as I expected AI to be (you can stick to it, if it means faster updates and a better focus on the structure and writing), but I see potential for real, actual nuance.

As I said before, playing as the villain works better if there are real choices, because most of us aren't naturally evil or vengeful--and Arisa is actually being mean here. This disconnect will probably become engagement-breaking at some point.

I suggest real choices and making her affected by her human side (extra points if you throw in a dash of mental corruption(?) a la Aura). If the Brits, French and Germans could sing carols and play soccer together during the first Christmas of WW1, I'm sure Arisa can connect with her humanity.

Also, the Orc-Juno scene was really good for the same reason--I fully understood and agreed with Arisa and where she was getting her gleeful pleasure from. Just imagining Doll's internal thoughts made me giggle.
