I mean, it's deliberately aping old 8-bit games like the original Metroid, which can be... Clunky in ways that if you're not used to, can be tough to get the hang of. The game does give you a bunch of tools to help with that, HP for instance is a lot more generous than actual retro games, but it definitely feels tricky to make it through without feeling like you're messing up in some way.

I'm just totally in favour of this. It's the horny retro game of my dreams.

The game is just plain hard. Player damage is really low compared to enemy damage so fighting feels like the wrong option. Except the game doesn't give you the movement options or space to avoid most enemies. And if you go the wrong way because you didn't look up guide beforehand, well then fuck you.

It is a retro game. Its also a hard retro game.

i duno if he took it out but it used to be that certain food booted your stats a little
it all adds up

Just die a bunch of times and it unlocks a lot of cheats like half-damage to you, double-damage to enemies, etc.

I first saw this on Steam. Thought "Oh this is obviously a porn game" clicked on it and didn't see any tags for sexual content or adult only, nor any explicit images. Was surprised that a game called "Cosmobreeder Yiffai" *wasn't* a porn game.

It is also worth noting that the "full save" on the front page was not actually a completed save file when it was working. I tried it prior to the recent update and there are missing things.

No, I mean, it literally gives you more HP just as base and level ups (which most games did not give you back then) that you can survive significantly more hits than a lot of the games back then. Like, the tigers are annoying sure, but you can just... Trade blows with them in a way that older games would never let you get away with.
