I said this very early on in development, so most people won't have seen it, but: There won't be any murder plots at any point in the story.
As for the MC's grandfather, he remained the head of the Fletcher family until he died. Being in exile didn't change that, so any other Fletchers of his generation couldn't just pick up the mantle. Regarding his divorced wives, this hasn't been stated in game yet, but I have explained it on discord before: marrying into a Founding Family comes with a few extra strings attached, one of which is that divorce essentially makes her children illegitimate, relinquishing all claim on the title that they may have had. You can see why they would have that rule, otherwise they could just have their daughters marry, pop out a son, then divorce and run off with the heir back to their own family.
That helps a lot with thanks. I'm hoping at some point he finds some of his cousins, even if they aren't allies it would add to the complexity of the situation.
I would love to see Alison do something like that, not just for Elizabeth, but maybe also for Hannah, enabling her trust him more. It would work for Elizabeth, but might do wonders for Hannah as well
Alison, the Headmistress and Secretary, already plays a critical role in the MC's larger 'family.'
Alison, the woman, needs to show her commitment to the MC in front of his girlfriends and set an example for the other founding family daughters (this will benefit Hannah, Catherine and Elizabeth Russell, since Sarah is clearly Team Fletcher now).
Her submission in front of the group (in the privacy of the cafe, for example) would be an important way for her to Show both submission and commitment.
Alison is a smart, driven woman so I see her viewing spankings, both over the panties and bare bottom, as far less punishment/humiliation and far more a small price to pay to demonstrate that she is every bit as committed to becoming one of the MC's women as any of the girlfriends are.
I could even see Alison coordinating with the MC ahead of time so that he could punish her in front of the other women (I automatically include Hannah here since she is part of the cafe staff now) when Elizabeth Russell is present.
I believe that Elizabeth, at age 20, and with her view of the MC and his inner circle of women, needs some shock therapy to adjust her perception.
Alison is the only person familiar enough with Elizabeth to call her Ellie.
They have a pre-existing relationship, and this will, IMO, make Alison's submission to the MC in front of the other women (and especially Elizabeth) more impactful.
This is our first meaningful time spent with Elizabeth and I like her character.
Elizabeth currently falls into the category of: 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend.'
I'm looking forward to seeing how Cosy brings Elizabeth into the MC's orbit, a valued and loyal part of the Fletcher clan, who finds the home she had been missing for some time.

I dont know what a pleb version is, I assume its like a free release, in which case yes they do a free release, its a month after the patreon release. it usually has fixes to typos in it and stuff.
The current release literally just got made public this week, and even then I think it was an early leak, I wouldn't expect any news for a couple of months

I always forget that Elizabeth is 20. In my head she is closer to Alison's age
I don't think Elizabeth needs to see Alison submission.
I'd rather she find her own reason to submit and fall for MC instead. she seems like a woman with strong character, so she should be her own person and make her own decisions. bing influenced by witnessing Alison's submission would weaken the depth of the character.
Seeing Alison and MC mutual trust and loyalty should already be enough to kickstart the path. first, she learnt that MC was the fletcher head and her mother tried to get rid of him, so she automatically was on his side with the "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" just to mess with her mom, she wanted to trade information about MC's grandad so MC rejected Gloria's offer. then she saw Alison, a rebel like herself and her friend, behind friendly and trusted allies with MC, that cemented the idea to partner with MC to undermine and get rid of her mother with his help.
so it's be better for her story that she respects and falls for MC through what they do and the time they share, together, rather than through Alison making a show.
Technically the Dev does the updates about every 2 months, depending on content. So technically around the first week of November would be the next release, assuming there are no technical difficulties.

Will she submit to discipline from the MC when she makes a mistake?
Elizabeth has to genuinely win over the MC and some form of submission has been part of the path for all of the women, including Alison who totally submitted to the MC's mercy in order to get him to help Hannah.
Part of one path:
I see Alison's choice to be punished in front of the women as a declaration of her full support of the MC (he believes that she is already on board) for the benefit of at least some the women (Hannah, Catherine + Elizabeth perhaps).
I don't think Alison's submission in front of the other women diminishes Elizabeth's journey, so we disagree on this.
I don't know if this is the path Cosy will choose, only that it is part of A path.
I also see the MC's girlfriends testing Ellizabeth the same way they are now testing Alison:
Elizabeth is going to have to grow into someone the MC will want to have as a girlfriend and a potential wife.
She will also have to find a way to blend into the MC's growing harem, and accept that Victoria and other women will insert themselves into situations letting Elizabeth know that she is being evaluated and has to earn acceptance from them just as she has to prove herself to the MC.
Perhaps she has a skill or a favored hobby that will add to the group and give her a way to contribute and build relationships.

Alright, I'm not going to go through the entire post, but replying on my own bullet points.
To me, there's not much different between being 18 and being 20, when it comes to actual age. Yeah they're in high school, but they are adults, just not in college. MC runs his own business, like he said, and even though she said it's being run by kids, technically, the MC is the one running it with Alison's guidance. Sarah's just helping out. So, MC has a right to be snippy to her about it.
Elizabeth doesn't seem the type at all to submit. She's certainly not like the Princess, and she gives off a biker chick vibe to me, and I've met a few of them in the past when I lived in Vegas, and if they do submit, it takes the right kind of guy to make them do that. Yeah the MC has a bit of a temper and a little bit of a mean streak, but It's going to take a lot, like, A LOT, for her to change her tune towards him. Whether Alison is part of that or not, don't know. I don't think she'll like at all Vicky and the other girls analyzing her every move with him.
I'm glad they're doing it with Alison, but Elizabeth is a whole 'nother animal in my opinion.
Let's say Alison makes a mistake at the after-party the MC didn't go to, and she comes in the cafe the next day, and let's say she does fuck up and hone up to it after the shift is over and everyone is around, including Elizabeth.
Does she willingly bend herself over a bed or a desk and take it or does the MC put her into position? Her willingly taking it creates more of an impact, with the other girls, especially Hannah and possibly Elizabeth.
I don't know if I'm talking out of my ass because I haven't slept much and have been studying too much chess or what, but Alison admitting she flubbed up at the after party could mean some interesting scenes and impact afterwards. I don't know. Studying chess is easier some times than theorizing about this.
The "pleb version" comes out a month after the patreon release(which would be October 1st), so if there are any typos or things that get fixed then that update will get released and put here, otherwise we will just keep the update that's here. There really isn't any reason to put the free release here if there aren't any changes to it.
