He has one insane advantage compared to all other FF members - he is surrounded by loyal, competent people and he can whore his vote for advantage and resources. Since his vote is essentially the tie-breaker on the Council it's an immense asset. How to outplay my Gloria, step by step guide.

1. Find a very popular influencer/journalist and get them on his side. Gloria's side publishes a hit-piece, you publish a puff-piece. Throw so much baseless accusations at each-other that people are soo annoyed at both sides, that they decide to check this shit for themselves. Gloria's side publishes "MC - the wolf in sheep's clothing, abuser, slaver, rapist", your side publishes "MC - the white knight that this city needs". And hope someone actually credible doesn't throw with the opposition. There is a saying in my country: "Every miracle is for three days". Whatever hit-piece bs Gloria can trigger, as long as you can do a media blitz of equal size - they kinda cancel each-other.
2. Character assassinate Mika with the resources of the previous point and just laugh at her accusations. Leverage voting power to ensure any possible police action here and in the future is neutral and not swayed by FF politics.
3. Either leverage voting to get rid of the inspectors or (much better!) just make sure you are compliant with all regulations.
4. Keep your cool, call Danny to deal with Vicky's dad. If that fails, just lean in to the "White knight in our city" persona, get good publicity from it, don't fight the potential charges, etc.
5. Keep Gilbert in the loop about the war Gloria is waging, use his honor-bound character to ensure either neutrality or even support at times.
6. Use Hamilton to deal with it. He has as much interest in it as the MC.
7. Well... Misaki i gonna be the family wet-nurse anyway. Seriously, no counter to that one. She'll loose her job, no way around it.
8. Either let Alison lose her job (the position itself is a bit irrelevant) or if don well in point 5 watch her dad turn whomever did it in to a spot on the pavement.
9. Get... no, let me rephrase that. Stop Lucy from murdering her mom and make her just tell her story. See "The white knight of the City" part.
Even if the restaurant is struggling, I'm pretty sure the girls would pitch in and either find costumers or hell, get side jobs if needed. They love the MC, they aren't your regular gold digging slut that hangs around the Founding Families. MC is overwhelmed - he will get support. Business is struggling, they'll find a way to save it. None of them are afraid of hard work, none of them are stupid and, tbh, there is a pretty good chance the whole household can probably survive on Sarah's allowance if needed and Vicky and Lucy know the MC enough to convince him to accept help if he needs it.

I understand where you're coming from but i think cosy has dropped a few lines from her that will change that direction (gardening being one).

When the story started out Lucy seemed submissive because she didn't have the self confidence or courage to speak out, like there was no other option besides latching onto this outgoing confident person who decided he liked her (that isnt to say that I think she didnt like doing that stuff).
By the end I think she will be confidently submissive, where she has the self confidence to help run the restaurant, the courage to speak out for herself and others, but she still chooses to be submissive to the MC.

Just think about it though ... Cosy doesn't do much for "shits and giggles". He made Lucy the #2 of the Cafe. There are 3 main parts to any restaurant, Kitchen, Waitressing (or Hostessing), and Admin. Things like dishes, maître d', which fall under one of those three. Lucy I can see head of Admin, Kitten for Kitchen, and Vicky for Waitressing. MC head overall (and lead Chef), but Lucy is the backup for MC when he is gone doing other stuff. Kitten is too good to just be a backup/intern/apprentice. Lucy will get there and be more in charge, I can see that for sure, and find her place.

Hey guys, it's time for a short dev log!
I'm happy to report that the last couple of weeks have been productive as usual! Of course, the lion's share of my time has been taken up with rendering to update, and I'm really starting to love some of the new quality of life features available with the newer software I spoke about upgrading to last month. It really is making the inconvenience of upgrading worth it in the end.
In addition to that, I've also been learning a new animation technique called timeline animation. So far, most of the animation in the game has been based around pre-made animation assets that I alter slightly to fit my scenes. With the new skills I'm learning, however, I'll be able to create completely custom animations when scenes call for it in the future.
This is a little more time consuming (though not as much as you might think, because adapting pre-made animations was already quite time consuming), and there's still a hell of a lot I need to learn and practice before I've mastered it, but it should really open up an enitre world of possibilites for the future of the game!
So, having said all of that, I can also report that I've completed animating the first 14 videos of the update. These make up the first of three animated scenes this time around - all three of which will probably use this new technique.
And I think that's all I have for this one! As always, thank you all for your support, and I'll talk to you again in a couple of weeks with the next dev log!

Longer times to get those better updates almost always goes hand in hand, for any AVN, so no issue for me at least.
Cosy gave everyone here great news with the ETA for the next rev in late Sept/early Oct versus mid/late 4q2025.

Same, a good AVN takes time and Cosy always delivered. Some devs do shorter cycles with less content and that's ok when the time/content ratio is good enough (not every dev does this full time). At last, it's for the patreons to decide to support their devs (and the way he does his work).I'm a $ supporter and I appreciate better updates.

Hard to say without seeing the difference. But if I think of it in reverse, with games that have long dev time between patches but very high quality, would I want the quality lower for faster patches? In every case my choice would be no.Wonder if the patrons will appreciate longer times with better updates.
So I'm leaning toward yeah, the extra wait would be worth an increase in quality.

I kind of had a bitch fit for the last update when it hit 6 months. When I subscribed it was 3-4 months per. 4 months is just about ideal, with the occasional 5 months for UI issues or bug hunts.I'm a $ supporter and I appreciate better updates.

Vicky is not bad, but Annabelle will own them all in the next update. She’s going to show up at the cafe like a vampire princess + being a klutz = unbeatable. That’s why Cosy moved her to the main heroines' page.
