Note - Game is magic brought to real life, I loved it. Thanks xell17 for requesting this. For the first time ever, I went in for testing and ended up completing the whole game. <3.

Ok, I'm curious.
I have a peculiar case alluded to earlier.
In my desire to try this out, I downloaded the compressed version, then patched it to 0.12, as that would allow me to finish downloading a day earlier. I don't remember if I actually started playing immediately. Now I have this mix of low quality and normal quality files, with the LQ actually being named different, if I remember correctly.
Can I actually now copy the high quality video over it to make it even more of a mess?
Because I do want to.

You should download full 12GB even if it takes a day extra, game is worth it.

Now to your particular issue, if you have path like "CosyCafe-0.12.0-pc\game" and when pasting mod to that folder you get a prompt to replace files. There is a very good chance that this mod will work fine with your peculiar setup (I can't guarantee it though, since you say its named differently.) Compressed versions are generally worse in quality and hence low in size, but they never touch scripts. So mod should work. They only reason this is confusing is because of the line "LQ actually being named different".

If you want to avoid all that, just download full and patch with this mod. It would work fine. Otherwise hit and try, all the best.

Yeh, I should probably take the time and just redownload the whole thing - it'll take a while due to filesize limitations, but I already played through it, and I have the time now.
Also, I checked. Turns out it's just the image folders that have different names, so the videos should slot right in.
So I'll download this anyways, and can try.
... for science.

I am just about entirely certain she will end up having one Hell of a redemption arc in the coming updates. Call it a "gut feeling" if you will, since this is an entirely unresearched statement of mine. Really, don't take my word for it! I am just calling it as I am "feeling it," so to speak. But Cosy has given us some pretty distinctive clues...

This is first and foremost a romance based game, Rachel has always been intended to be a LI, so she will definitely get a redemption arc, since she will eventually become one of MC's girlfriends.

I think the issue for me with Rachel is that her introduction and most subsequent appearances portray her as cartoonish and absurdly unlikeable. To the point even the MC who's got a pretty thick skin seems to detest her. And no sane man is going to be sticking his dick in a woman whos favorite word seems to be rape, whether she's willing or not at the time. Because you never know when she might change her mind and suddenly you've got a whole shitstorm of trouble on your hands. All she'd have to do is have regrets the next morning, convince herself she was coerced somehow (she seems delusional enough to actually do this) and go down to the police station to drop an accusation. Which would get backed up by a dna swab finding his baby batter in her.

Sure, some of the other girls didn't make great first impressions either but none were even close to as over the top as Rachel is. Catherine was probably the closest but even she never came across THAT bad, she was just the annoying snobby brat, every school has at least a few.
