It is still a work in progress but it still manages to entertain a lot, the story is fun and it is not difficult to understand.
There are still things to add, fix some bugs but for now it is a good game

Good game with a nice start going to play more to see what to think about it

-As for what I think the game can add is more character job options would be nice with the character going slowly through the semester some thing the character is studying can lead to them getting a job in field they study which would be a good addition.

    - also more clothes options would be nice and maybe events that start up about the clothes you wear.

-maybe add an option to add more than one childhood friend

-maybe a martial arts class our character can take with tournaments and events

That's most I can think more now.

    v0.4.26
A clone of a popular game, but without everything that makes that game good.

It features way too many stats, including things like food, which makes it feel like you're playing The Sims, if having a snack required a dozen clicks.

The very first scene is a man cumming on your face in a crowded public school bus, and it doesn't give you any options to fight back or ask for help. This is literally the aftermath of the scene:

"Wow," says Juliette. "That happened." Her shirt is spattered with dark wet spots. You're sure it's all over your shirt too... probably in your hair... frankly, you're a little afraid to find out.

"It sure did," you say. "I feel like a lot of things just happened."

    Juliette laughs. "I bet."

Since the game doesn't have any pictures, you would expect the writing to make up for that, but as you can see, it's far from decent.

It also includes some of the gender terminology used by modern kids, so half of the time you don't know what the game is talking about unless you go out of your way to research. For example, this is one of the first choices in the game:
"Your best friend Arely (nonbinary AFAB)"
    All friends are bad?

The travelling system is identical to that of the other game, same for the options during class.
Character descriptions are exceedingly bad. This is an actual example, and far from the worst one I've seen: "a thick-bodied eye-catchingly dressed blue-haired college boy".

You get 1-2 sentence screens with descriptions like that all the time, and they don't seem to do anything: they'll increase stats that vanish by the next screen.

After 1 hour I didn't see anything that resembled sexual content, besides some mentions of somebody making sex noises inside of a room as you walked by. That's fine for a VN with a great story. For a text-only sandbox without a story or art? No, thank you.

In the end, this game managed to remove all of the mechanics that characterize the other game and only kept the least user-friendly features: the bloated menus, ridiculous descriptions, poorly generated repetitive scenes, and clickfesty elements.

A shame, because making a game like this takes work - if only that effort had been focused on better and more interesting mechanics, this could've been enjoyable. Instead what it offers is tedium, grind, and boredom.

A very nice game, essentially a casual clone of DoL (not in a bad sense!) By casual I mean being more.... normal? Instead of paranormal-ish town teeming with rapists and horny beasts you get a regular college campus, and you're less of a victim, but mechanics are basically the same.

One notable difference is that all characters are permanent and pre-generated at the start of the game, not unlike HHS+ or Influencing. That makes encounters more engaging since you know you can meet this person later.

It's still somewhat repetitive and sparse in terms of content, and some things need rebalancing, but even in its current state it's worth spending a couple of hours.

Extremely promising game, you won't get lost anywhere looking for certain passages. Characters are well-written and the entirety of the game is fun to explore, became one of my favorite projects around in no time !

Hope the dev keeps up with the work they're doing right now because it's beyond amazing.

Usually I avoid text only games but for some reason i tried this one.
    And I didnt regret it.
Its a bit repetive but its okay and somehow even part of the fun here.

Overall I had and still have much fun with this game.
Though I would love a few Ai generated pics here and there, would really add much flavour.
Looking forward to the next updates.

game got a lot of potential but is already pretty great, waiting for even more content to be added; like gloryholes.
also adding a way to find people on elkbook and go meet them would be great because doing the "fuck all football team member" quest is hard if your not in the cheerleader team
and on the phone it would be good if you could have the contacts in alphabetical order so it's easier to find the right one

Amazing game, I find myself playing it for hours, but the biggest flaw of the game is that events/content is heavily tied to RNG. You can go multiple days without anything interesting happening, for example. I wanted to progress The Classroom Harasser content, but the bully rarely ever shows up. Compare that to the bully in Degrees of Lewdity where you can actively pursue being bullied or avoid it.

A change in triggering events is needed to really make this game something special, otherwise this game is great and should be played.

A lot of effort was put into this game, but it needs a rebalance.
Welcome to the grindfest of your life, where to learn a person's name you need to successfully interact with him five or more times. But at the same time, a girl with whom you only talked once, can casually ask you to lick her cunt, because it was a very stressful day. However, you can't ask anyone the same, despite your day being full of stress, like manually doing homework, or manually going to work in another city for 9$ an hour, while your own mother takes 100 each week and you local gangsters take the rest, regularly robbing you on your campus territory. Well, at least you can smoke pot for free all day in a front lawn of your college administration.
Oh, and this is a porn game, so on top of money and grades, you need to grind your other parameters, like sluttines: if you will let people on the bus grab your genitals for several game weeks, you will reach lever 3, and you will get the ability to pee in a shower.
But, surprisingly, all of this goofiness started to bother me only at the 6th hour of playing. Because it's an effortful project, and there is a lot of staff to do.
Now, about wokeness. Like all american games, this one has it. The first flag for me was the un-optional presence of binary-nonbinary and all of that, but in the game itself there are relatively small amount of these people', so I just ignored them. Much worse is the situation with races: every character is prosidurally generated, and skin colors are distributed randomly, but there are only 2 white variations and 8 brown ones. So this collage is pretty much in India, except everyone is dying their hair the most ridiculous color.
Anyway, it was fun for some time, but the amount of flaws at some point will start to wear you down.

This game is a blast! Some of the kinks are a bit hard to get unlocked without save editing, but otherwise I love it!!

Also rememer, it is fairly early in the roadmap. This can only get better as more of the planned content gets added!

By the by, I strongly recommend ignoring and/or blocking the people whining about current social issues in the forums. This is a porn game. And, yes, this is coming from a LONG-TIME member of the LGBTQ+ community.

Not gonna lie but this the best textbased real life sim out there in my honest opinion apart from the JAVA NewLife. This game can potentially be on par with Degrees of Lewdity and COC. Although igenerally feel there could be a bit more fleshing out the social interactions side including forming hard relationships and not just date but also there should be a general ability to talk to the people present in an area in a natural manner apart from certain social situations or socialize actions. Also there could be a small turnbased brawling skill system based on rnd in certain situations like bar fights, sport rivalry, bullying and fighting back etc.

This is you stereotypical SugarCube (or QSP) day-to-day, open-world simulator title. As it stands right now there's a lack of meaningful content that is hampered by a lot of tedium. Numerous needs (8 bars of different needs) to keep track of, limited to two hangouts/dates a day when relationship levels take forever to grind. And most annoyingly the "death by many clicks" this types of titles tend to have. Want to attend class? Leave dorm, travel to building, enter building, attend class, click click click until class ends, rins and repeat for the next class

Having said all of that there's a solid foundation for what could be a great title down the line. Which is why I'm giving it 3 stars.

    Lupiscanis

It's a solid framework but I hesitate even giving it four stars because I feel as though there's little 'soul' to the game at the moment. In a similar vein to accidental woman (although much better in my opinion) it feels at the moment like a dry simulator without any real feeling to it outside of some limited interactions.

Take for instance the classroom admirer. You can accept their advances once they ask you to study and move things forward, but it feels like literally every other encounter in the game.

I realise it's still early in it's development and I appreciate the array of choices given to the player, but I'd like to see some more emphasis on the interactions and character development before anything else.

Still, a very solid framework and hopefully development continues, hence the 4*

Impressive game! Not the first text based game I played and enjoyed, but the one with the most immersive feeling.
You are doing chores for most of the days, yes, like a proper life simulation is meant to represent. Yes, that is emulated via tons of clicking around and daily routines.
However, I'm genuinely impressed just by how much this game can be addictive. I think most of the reason for me it is because of the world NPCs which, while quite dumb and simplistic in the current state, are persistent and give the feeling of actually living inside the world.

Definitely looking forward new updates, for more content and smarter NPCs!

Wow! Impressive how much complexity there is in this Game - it can be configured to most people's (dis-)likes and you have a choice in whether or not to unlock certain kinks along the way.
The grinding part can be a little challenging but it's still "reasonable" and plausible enough for the "grindy scenario" that is Education most of the time sadly...yet, I do not yet know if there is an alternative option to this since I haven't triggered a complete "drop-out" yet (even though I have gotten hints, that this might be an option - but I cannot say whether or not it's something, that is implemented yet...or ever will be!).

But the potential of this Game is pretty clear - since it might also help those who might have had some trauma in this environment to maybe "re-frame" it with a naughtier and more pleasant/-ure-filled Fantasy-Option ("What could have been in a different Universe/World"), which can feel pretty empowering and could even inspire some constructive Lifestyle-Changes here and there (hopefully not the destructive ones though, that are also possible to "simulate" - but that could maybe serve as a "valve" for those more destructive personalities/impulses to be merely "simulated" than acted out!)...

The writing is pretty helpful with immersion for me though, I've found in the several nights I've already spent in there now...I will probably need to set alarms to drag me outta it when I immerse myself into this from now on ;) - which is a compliment for the way it's written and designed, I guess.

The coordination of the different obligations can be a little challenging though, yet - as mentioned earlier - I dunno yet what kind of consequences not meeting them will/might have...I wanna see if I can play through a "successful" path first and then reload certain saves and see where the less successful meeting of the expectations will lead my character (playing M/M focused content here).

But the complexity really feels enticing, too - which I really love about this Game and miss in others, too. I guess in more graphical Games, this might be much harder to implement with visual sprites and/or animated characters even and need a lot more resources - why text-based Games like this can make use of the players' imaginative capacities, methinks.

And since lewd stuff is highly "imagination-dependent" anyway, I think it's an awesome inspiration of the naughty Muses inside of all of us...

Thanks for this and looking forward to see where it's heading with the planned options and Events in later versions (I just hope it doesn't get overwhelming then ;) )

Has so much potential, I hope it will continue on its current path. Felt great playing it, although the game is still in its early development stages and I hope that lots of content will be added in the future

This game provides a level of freedom to how you want to play I have rarely seen. Paired with excellent writing and easy-to-utilise systems and a navigable HUD, this game deserves each of these 5 stars

This is probably one of the best text based games on the site so far, it would get tedious if the game didn't allow you to change the rate you gain skills on the fly. This game easily earns it's 5 stars.

Course of Temptation has the potentially to be one of the best games in its genre, and I'm being serious about this.

As someone who absolutely loves these types of life-sims and have played every one they can get their hands on, it is refreshing to see the breadth of choice in this game, the options for not only your own character but how they interact with others around them, and the scenarios you can find yourself in.

My only complaints are things that will be improved as the game continues through development I'm sure, expanded combat, relationship options, scenarios, and more lewd stuff. I always like to see the direction these games go before I add my own suggestions. That being said, I will definitely keep playing and hope this game continues to be amazing.

    Review is for v0.4.20
All I can really say is "WOW". This has skyrocketed into my top 4 favorite porn games of all times. The game is just so much fun to play and there is so much to do, that you can spend a while just going around to the different area's talking to different people and getting different reactions based on what your wearing or if there is cum showing and whatnot. The amount of detail with these passages is incredible. The social aspects, and how you slowly start to learn who people are is amazing as well.
My main grip is that, for some reason, you cannot talk to the people that are around you. There is a button to identify who is around you, but no way to speak to them. In a game that's really all about socializing, this feels like a missed opportunity.
A couple minor grips are that the sex interface could do a rework. I wouldn't really say it's bad, but how the buttons all jump around is frustrating. The other is the lack of art. I know the game is text based, so we may never get it, but even just having an avatar that shows your characters appearance would be amazing.
