Has anybody here actually used the new gifting mechanic yet beyond testing? As it stands, it seems really underwhelming to me. Like, why would I want to spend money on practical household items such as a toaster just to give it away? And it's even worse with the decorative flavor books, which I've never bought anyway because they are completely useless except for giving a tiny stat boost better gained by other means. That just leaves the clothing accessories, which I thought would be the most interesting part and allow for more specific NPC outfit customization beyond the few current style presets in the editor, but unfortunately the gifting only works for a very limited amount of items - aka expensive jewellery - so it again feels worthless. I mean, I bought a simple studded leather bracelet for my punky bestfriend, expecting it to work since it was classed as an accessory, only to find I'd wasted my money for nothing. Maybe if we could gift proper clothes for NPCs to wear, then it'd be useful, otherwise I don't see a reason to bother with it outside of the gift-giving festival thing.

Is there noncon mod? Or something that makes it so deciding to engage in relations is based on chance (i.e. like in Newlife where weak willpower can't resist)?
Hiya!
I'm the author of the Dorm Gangbang Event mod out on the Unofficial CoT Modding Discord ( ).

The most recent update to the mod implements skill checks for the PC to try and resist forced fetish play by the NPC's that have just gangbanged them. The NPC's use coercive dialogue and blackmail threats that the PC eventually gives into if the skill checks are failed. The rest of the mod also features several non-con/dub-con features.

Hope that's something that would interest you!
A full list of the mod's features is listed in the unofficial Discord's "kittypatcher-mods" channel!
