if using the pregnancy mod, how do you tell if you are? is there somewhere to get a test?
iinm, it's no longer working in the latest version

rule of thumb:
if a mod hasn't been updated in over 2 months, it's probably outdated
the dev releases a new version of the game every month, so after 2 months there could be big changes in the code that break older mods

I just realized that the Vegetarian, Vegan, and Pescetarian inclinations can't be unlocked for the PC or given through cheats due to them not being listed on the updated UI, but they can be given to NPCs with the old UI. The wiki (which is outdated) says they are placeholder inclinations, so are they unavailable since they haven't been implemented yet and technically don't even do anything despite their relaxation boost effects being noted in the descriptions, or was this an oversight of the revamped menu? Because it seems kinda pointless to have added vegetarian/vegan food options now if the inclinations to go with them still don't actually work. I don't want to be half-assing my roleplay lol.

i think it's part of the future roadmap. one of the contributors on the official discord has been working on vegan/vegetarian menu for a long time now

for now, they're kinda useless since they don't really do anything important yet. they won't be ready until the dev adds more features to fully support them

I want to add my own custom characters to the game through the special npc niches via setup.people.niches, but I can't get it to work properly. I've tried copying the code layout of the existing niches and I can technically get the npc to generate ingame, yet all the character info is just a giant wall of red errors that I can't understand the source of. So either my code is somehow wrong (eventhough I've tested it both with and without my additional variables), or I guess there must be another section of code I need to mess around with before it will recognize the npc data. Any idea what I'm missing here? I feel like I'm so close.

this is how i do mine in the past (it's been 4 months since i mess with it)

1. write special character in niche db

2. add them into events

3. call them in passage

If the character info is spamming errors at you it's because the displaynpc function is trying to read malformed data, like a style that doesn't exist or a stat that's not the expected value. Check for typos or try only adding one line at a time to figure out what's causing the problem.

I thought it would be something like that. I'm not really sure what the problem was exactly, yet I finally got it to work, so thank you. I just have a few more question now 'cause I can't figure them out; what is the .variable to define an npc's outfit styles? I already got the general one like .style = "Hipster", but how do I make it choose a specific sub-outfit such as "Hoodie and Jeans" etc? And is there a variable to add/remove glasses? Also, how do I define the npc's name? Using .name = "name" doesn't seem to actually work, since they are still given a random one instead.

I don't think there's a way to force a specific outfit other than making a new style with only one possible option. For glasses there doesn't seem to be a way to set it per character other than changing the way the game decides to assign them. If you want the character to have a specific name follow the format of the "Clifford Rentfrow" character at the top of the list.

where do you get teh skimpy cheer outfit?
During the cheerleader-route - after some weeks - you get to make the team vote for skimpier outfits. If that is decided the way it should (never failed to me) you can get it where you purchased the first cheerleader outfit, Blodgett Gymnasium - Campus Recreation office - order uniform.

Anyone knows whats the next big thing being implemented after the greek house party? Also can someone share the latest dev log?
I think they choose at least a month after the last big update.

My bet will be climate/seasons, but if they decide to let the patreons or the public vote, it'll be pregnancy.

I think it was mentioned in a dev diary, that some items on the roadmap will get implemented in several monthly updates. Climate and seasons was mentioned as an example for that, that's why weather was implemented now. I don't think a whole roadmap update will be dedicated to climate and seasons now.
